Can someone answer 1 question for me?

I have been trying to perfect my cloning process for a while now and i came across a new problem this go around... I dont remember the nodes i cut off being as soft as it is this time.. so my question is should i clones even though the branches arent as stiff/firm as it was last time and is this normal?

Softer cuttings take root faster than 'woody' ones, as long as they're healthy, and not tiny.(1/8" or bigger, should be fine)
