can someone give me a bit of advice please regarding tempature?!?!?!?

yer i have all my gear but i don't want to set things of till i know temps, water temps and everything else is all in working order correctly.
so i have had my 600w light on since this morning and im getting temp reading of 102.4f at the top of my tent and thats with n 125mm extractor in at all, i think this temps are wrong so what im asking is what temps it suppose to be please?

try to get the temps from 75 to 90 degrees F. the plants can handle 100 plus temps but not for too long

do you have a fan in here blowing on them? try to go for some exhaust to pump the hot air out

Bro please skim thru a few pages of these treads this ?? is asked at least 1 time a day if not more....But whats the size of the tent whats ur ambient temp? do u have fans and so on we need all those peices to be able to tell u what ur prob is..

79f is a nice mark to aim for. 102 is crazy shit man. get some exaust and keep it simple.

i have a 1.2x1.2x1.2 grow tent, 125mm extractor that i haven't put in yet i was just checkinbg what the temp would be without anything but the light.

so its like 4x4 600w light thats what i have and my temps dont get out of control unless ambient temps r really high but if ambeint temps is around 70 my room is right around 80 with no vent just box fan outside of room and door to closet opened....GL

right i have put the 125mm (5inch)extractor fan
in the tent and ill see what the temps are shortly.

oh and when you measure your temps inside your box/tent whatever. you should try to measure the temps at the plant canopy under your light. just a FYI. and like peeps said if you can exhaust from your hood that should drop temps dramatically. good luck

how many cfm does that 5inch fan move? i can barely get away with my 600 in my dr80 (2.3 x 2.3 x 5) but the trick is good active intake. after spending 200$ on my 6inch extractor fan i went out and bought a 2 cheap bathroom exhaust fans , 100 cfm each, for 30$, wired them up with and wall socket plug and just set them outside my tent with the exhaust routed into the tent via 4inch ducting , 6 degrees above ambient with 600W in a 25cu.ft tent

i have just checked the temps and the around 81-83, thats sounds better dont it?

It is preferable during flowering to have a night temperature drop of 10-20 degrees to stimulate flowering hormones and reduce stem elongation.[/FONT]

At this point, the humidity should be lowered as much as possible to encourage the plant to seal and protect itself with additional resin.
