Here's the story in a nutshell...

Plants been growing in a seed starting mix since January 4th until two days ago when i transplanted it (soil medium to follow). It was watered often as the soil would be desert dry in less than 48 hrs, and that was even after GOOD waterings - it had grown quite a bit too so decided to upgrade the pot! I actually weigh the pot n medium dry and wet so if I'm ever unsure of If it needs water/nutes or not. When transplanted, I caught it on PERFECT timing as the tips of roots were at the edge of the "butter container"! Anyhow, she sprouted on about Jan 6th? And has been growing *fairly* quick, nothing super thriving (no point intended lol) but nothing special... The only thing I've seen special about this plant is the leaves seem like their CAKED in crystals/sugar! Another thing is it's DARK green/purple leaves, but this is where my question comes in....

The leaves are crystallly like, theyre also purple/dark... U know this cuz I just told u! Lol but the leaves also are curled under! Like the backwards "taco affect" that plants get when heat stressed or the lights/temp are too high and or close. Upside down, deformed "take my strooong haaand" type shit! Its just ass backwards! The leaves look healthy as hell, nice tint (under flash taking pics - otherwise u can BARELY see the purple/crystal tint with the naked eye!) . I'm just not sure what this is, if anything... But it doesnt seem BAD BAD! The plant seems rather healthy, I just transplanted it into a bigger pot (PERFECT SIZE BTW) and the soil is NOW staying rather moist longer instead of drying out so damn quick. So I guess that's a good thing! The medium is a peat moss/perlite/organic potting mix combo put together by me. (It was buffered with dolomite lime due to the HIGHLY acidic soil mixture) I've got the runoff at about 6.2 - 6.4 (last time I checked when watered), so I don't think anything is locked out!

After the soil was deemed appropriate, I then hit it with some *slightly* alkaline h20 (made alkaline with hydrated lime, just a pinch, because my faucet water is at 6.4 Ph but it is VERY hard water and VERY hard to control the soil for some reason! I couldn't get it right in the seed starting mix at ALL, SOME of the reason I transplanted! Couldn't hardly keep it above 5.3!!! Anyways, I let the plant settle in and soak up some "sunshine" aka CFL's lol. Right when she went to sleep and the lights shut off (what the directions say to do - " do not apply as foliar in direct light" I foliar sprayed it with my mix of "Alaska - All Purpose Fish Fertilizer (2-2-2)" which says is a GREAT source of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (this shit PROMISES 100% money back guarantee that this "plant food will NOT burn indoors or out") and a half strength shot of grow big to top it off! That's how it was done, I feel like it needed it, it was nitrogen deficit ans getting to big for its pot... Hate it or love it! Lol

Nonetheless, it was also hit with that because I "heard through the grapevine" that phosphorus and potassium deficiencies can cause my particular problem... The fish fert is known for those two things! This afternoon, I see no improvements or anything, just some weird, deformed looking leaves on an otherwise pretty healthy looking plant....

HELP ME OUT HERE GUYS! I DON KNOW IF WW IS SUPPOSED TO BE THESE COLORS AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S UP WITH MY SHORT BUS LEAVES!!!! ANY, LEMME SAY THAT AGAIN... ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED AND REP WILL BE GIVEN - NO DOUBT! HERE'S THR FLICKS! .......

Weird thing is, it only looks purple wit the flash on.... And that's the only time you can see the crystals too!!

Hey mate, how come your pots gets dry in less than 2 days? Even Jiffy cups hold more moist.. and your plant is in a bigger pot than it should....Low humidity? Heat? you should be watering like ounce a week at this stage.

I think you got rot roots, and your plant might be death soon as it looks very unhealthy. it's very young and you were bombing her with stuff she doesn't need at this stage, let the soil dry, stop adding shit at every sign, over caring kills weed as people tend to make lots of wrong decisions in a short amount of time, like transplanting twice in 2 days..... the plant usually can't keep up the pace!!!!. By the way is that powdery mildew on your leaves?, otherwise they're filthy not frosty!. I'ma gonna give you the KISS for Keep It Simple Stupid, oh and learn how to really measure your mediums PH

Never over cared? It was UNDER cared If ANYTHING! Why did the medium dry out so quickly u ask? U tell me since ur the expert! I was asking for advice, I don't think the plant looks "very unhealthy" AT ALL! Whatsoever! The grow boxes humidity stays at 35-40% so mildew is not an issue, temps around 85 during day and 60 at night. Far from a filthy plant, please take ur bad karma elsewhere if ur going to be SOOO negative about my plant and dog me out....

Now..... does anyone know what this is caused by? Everything is good, soil runoff WITH AND WITHOUT the plant was 6.2-6.4 and is maintaining for now. A 2 quart pot IS FAR from too big considering the roots were RIGHT ABOUT TO REACH THE OUTSIDE OF A 1 1/2 QUART "POT" as well....

What do you mean a "heavy soil base"? I'm all organic with EVERYTHING btw and use the FF TRIO: Big Bloom (SAFE FROM SEED TO FINISH), Grow Big and Tiger Bloom....

I just looked through the 100x's zoom magnifier and THOSE ARE FUCKING TONS OF CLOUDY TRICHS ALL OVER THE LEAVES! I'M HYPED! NEVER EVER SEEN A PLANT SO DAMN SMALL WITH CLOUDY TRICHES ALREADY! WTF! THANKS FOR TELLING ME TO DO THAT, I THINK THIS WILL END UP BEING AN AWESOME PLANT NOW!!!!

You're asking for advice but not giving the right info. Even your description was a pain to read and yes your plant looks like shit, it does look like PM but it could be pests or maybe you added some frosting before taking the pics to impress us- In any case they're not healthy and that's my "expert" word on it (lol) so you should take it seriously. Day temps 85, night temps 60.. there you go! at last some useful data. DO MORE RESEARCH. I'm out with my bad karma xD

I think u mean "root rot", which I don't as I just transplanted and my roots looked amazing.... Death is probably all you've ever seen growing as well, but don't think that's EVERYONE "mate".

Please be... The fact that u can't read or comprehend a grow or an explination in a nutshell, means u prolly shouldn't comment
Just a suggestion...

Well if you giving any nutes don't. I am not sure what has caused those weirdling leaves, but for real that isn't right... As for trichs on baby leaves, just not the case because MJ doesn't make it's trichomes until the lighting is 12/12, if you already have this plant on 12/12 then that is probably not a good idea either. It doesn't look like heat stress...It really looks like too much Nitrogen...it causes leaves to curl downward and sometimes can cause new growth to curl weird. Also the yellowing of the bottom leaves just at the tips points to too much N as well. So I would leave it be, give it only water when it needs it, and just hope it goes alright...and I wouldn't be so quick to get super excited about the coating on your leaves, because overall the thing looks a little mutie.

If you are using fox farm nutes than you ARE NOT growing organic.

Well they still use some very inorganic things in their fertilizers...I am not sure how they manage to still be called organic, but they aren't quite as organic as people might think/wish they were, but if you are liking how their line is treating you then keep using them---but not right now, I kinda want to try them out myself...I am using the General Organics GO box kit, and I like it simply because I haven't burnt the heck out of any plants since using it which is a big deal for me. All my plants look better than I have ever managed to get a plant to look...Now are they comparable to some of the wonders on here with every leaf perfectly colored and turned....one of them is---(it's an easy strain though) and the others as I said before look better than they usually do by far, but still not as nice as this one easy girlie...lol

really how so?
My EXACT question too, I'm pretty sure u don't get MUCH MORE organic with any other company unless its MG! ..... LOL jk!

Its under 20/4 light cycle. I will back off on the FERTILIZERS (not nutes - sounds worse! Lol jk again) and feed her only water right now! What you're saying makes sense FINALLY! Someone ... No one has any answers for this! Its odd, but I def like the way the soil is staying more moist and not drying out so quickly. She was definitely ready 4 a bigger pot! It DOES look odd and I am also curious about the trichs on something so damn small IN VEG! TRIPPING DUDE! Let's just hope that this turns into "one of, if not the most potent MJ In the world"!!!

Ha f@#ckin ha. Dude definitely needs to work on some showing some humility. Plant looks like crap, pure and simple! Asked for help with problems and then goes on to insult and undermine another who was offering sincere constructive criticism and solid advice. Help people help you bro. Good luck going at it ALONE.
