I had a good laugh too looking at your set up. Dude, foil on the wall???? Really???? Sometimes its best to save your paper route and allowance money before you jump into growing......even if its shwag. Im not Mr. money bags but I did buy EVERYTHING I was going to need before I got started. Id reccomend you growing in a stealth cab since it looks like you are hidding it from mom and dad. You could grow ounces inside a big speaker box and your folks wouldnt be wise to it. If im wrong and you have lots of room to grow then buy a 2 by 4 grow tent and a 4 bulb H.O. T5. That would cost around $220 if you ebay it or less on craigslist. Im scared to ask how you plan on flowering.. That plant in question is a male for sure.

Foil is fine, just not optimal. You don't need to buy a tent, making your own is much cheaper if you have a few tools. Last, if you're going to offer advice, great. No need to be rude about it though.

making a tent? Really?! I wouldn't recommend making a tent! Secondly foil leaves hot spots! And maybe he did lay it down a little thick but how many times have we seen this stuff? Kids trying to throw a regs seed under a cheap shitty bulb and expect a lot more than what's actually possible or even worth it! Idk seems like he didn't really plan this through. I've never even heard of orange kush btw! I mean I hope the kid pulls a harvest but I doubt it will get that far especially if he's doing it under his parents nose!

congratulations, you got a female! again im not 100% its kinda blurry but they look like hairs.sadly almost everyone i know including myself when we were a kids threw commercial seeds under shitty incandescent or t8s. although t8s actually work ok for veg. usually it was under parents noses. gotta start somewhere i guess. gets you more prepared for when your older. just gotta be smart and not get caught. thank got now they have medical laws where i live.

whoa whoa whoa there KP.....I wasnt being a dick just to be one. I told him SOUND advice. I wish someone told me that there was tents you could buy online with a walmart prepaid card AND T5 lights for under $220! I bought my first tent for $275 plus tax at the local Hydro shop just cuz I was none the wiser. Its clear this guy needs advice and I didnt JUST clown his efforts, I tried to improve his end result with cold, hard facts. I didnt see any advice that made dollar sense in your response, other than it could be made cheaper. Oh yeah? Tell him how then. Like I did. This site is for people who want to help others improve with their trials and I want to help him. Sorry if im curt. Now lets help the poor dude grow some good herb and please, with a cherry on top, dont worry about my comments. Trust me he will look back and thank me later. Carry on my wayward son.

Sad to say that this isnt his picture. He made the comment that this was a pic he found online that his plant looked similar to. So again.....the pics that are his do look male indeed. I agree that the picture you put the circle on is from a female plant though. Pos rep for your work, friend. Im sure he was happy you helped.

making a box or a tent for that matter is easy ! thats why we have the INTERNET to teach us these things..you need some better light asap but the best of luck to you and may you grow long ,happy and very dank ..
lol guess i should have done more reading before posting
oh yeah and as far as making a tent you can rig something up fairly cheap. just get some 2x2 pieces of wood and build a closet type frame against a corner or wall to your desired size. line the inside with poly tarp. its this stuff that blocks all light, is white on one side and black on the other. you dont even need to line with tinfoil. this stuff is good enough. mylar is better though.
