why are my leaves turning red like this in flowering

I have THE plants in 3 gallon pots with Fox farm soil. I feed them big bloom and Tiger Bloom about 1/4 THe required dose every other watering. And Bush doctor sweet and dandy about once a week. About 6 cfl lights all 150 equivalent* and one 300 equi. Water about every 4 days. Their Northern lights auto flowers in week 7. This plant in picture hasn't had no problems until this week. Appreciate the help

in the first and second pic would you say it looks more purple or like a rusty color?pics are just a tad blurry. also what are day/night temps?

Overall, the plant looks healthy and taking measures to 'correct' whatever the discoloration is can open the door to other issues. I call that a rusty-brown color - the third picture is brown - and I think it looks like the beginnings of a cal/mag deficiency (particularly the third picture) - assuming you've been giving your nutes at the proper ph for your medium.

In general, I'd say a 5 gallon pot minimum and trade all the CFLs for one 600w HPS.

Thx and I haven't checked the ph level in two weeks because I ra n out of solution. So if it is a ph problem, do I flush than give some cal mag? Yea I think those 5 gallons would of been way better cuz the plants are close to 5 feet. I had just googled auto flowers and they had said 3 gallons but most def going to change light n pot

Their more of a rusty color. And day tem is like 80 degrees but haven't tested night temp. Wat is the recommended night temp? Because I'm heading into winter temps where i m at..

First off, invest in a digital PH meter: accuracy and consistency are very important. You have to set the PH every time you water, no exceptions - I once had to go to the store to get a new meter when I was already very late for something important - no exceptions.

I wouldn't do anything corrective based on those photos. If you are alternating waterings (just water, nutes, just water, nutes, just water, etc), then you could give a little extra clean water to get some additional runoff, but I don't see a need to try and specifically flush the soil or add cal/mag. I would, however, closely monitor new growth.

Night time temps from 65-69 are what I shoot for. For me, that means having to heat during lights out in the winter.

Oh ok yea the ph tester with drops does kinda suck. Will most def switch to digital. I think temps r a lil colder than 68 degrees when lights off so WaT should I do to keep it warmer? so I never did adjust ph levels before? So if it's kinda low, do I just use ph up when I water to get it where it needs to be? Thanks again in advance!!

I would have drops as well as the digital tester. Sometimes if you haven't calibrated they can go out of whack. I periodically test with drops after my digital ph meter goes in. For the 8 dollars I like the piece of mind.

Plants are looking pretty darn good though

Straight up calcium deficency in my opinion.. Cal/mag should fix that quick.. And if you growing organic LOSE the ph pen.. you will be chasing your tail...let the microbes do there magic. never used the big bloom or tiger bloom so i can't comment on how organic it is...

I just keep a bottle of blue lab calibration solution handy, i recalibrate once a week, whether i think it needs it or not. Ph and PPM meters.

Remember to measure the water going in AND the run off.... if its going in @ 6.0 but runnin out at 8.2... may need to adjust accordingly...... or flush the shit out of it...

If you are using RO water... you have to use calmag+....

You dont say what your water is.... I have been told (dont know myself, this is 2nd hand, so feel free to disregard or research) later in flower, better to use epsom salts mixed into top inch of soil prewatering rather than calmag. (Veg n early flower CM+ it up)

nothing the whole plants looks good bar 2 leaves
