Hi, General hydroponics has a simple liquid test for water and liquid nutes. Just put 5ml or so of liquid to be tested in a plastic test tube, add about 4 drops of test solution, tap it repeatedly to mix and then compare the color against chart on bottle and done. Good growing...

Apera. I bought several cheapies which can work, but are not accurate. Spend the $$$ if you can afford it.

That's what I use, but another option are ph strips. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I've got a ph pen that cost a fiver I can't recommend it as it's not really been used much but it's accurate to the ph 7 calibration fluid and measures the same as my hannah costing £60

23 bucks for a test kit seems excessive you can buy 2 essentials kits for £4/5

You should find it for under $15.00 on EBay, it just pain works. Good growing
