NoAm I wrong to use boiling water??
keen to hear if you boiled your roots and the results. rm3 swears by it, as do othersAm I wrong to use boiling water??
No it doesn'tBoiling water causes the THC to rise to the buds. THC comes from the roots!
THC COMES FROM THE ROOTS!
I got the me neither bit but then after that wtf?
Very cool but there is nothing to flush with chems either, if used properlyThose are methods of natural organic growing.
No till - never till the soil and reuse the soil over and over adding composting worms and homemade castings to the pot. Using various teas. Ferments, seed sprouts, etc. .
Probiotic - using everyday things like oats, milk, rice wash, to xrwat bacteria, fungi and enzymes to add to the soil to feed the plant instead of using nutrients.
Knf - korean natural farming tech similar to the 2 above but using and creating bacteria and fungi with what's naturally available around you.
I don't use bottled nutes at all. So there's never ever any salt accumulation in my soil. So technically there's nothing to flush. My soil is amended and I use sub irrigated planters. My plants do get plain water via bottom roots. Once a week they get top fed a corn seed sprout tea.

This is the dumbest trolling shit I've ever heard. Boiling water will kill the plant.
All flushing does is rid the root zone and soil of salts. Not nutrients. If using synthetics or chemicals you definitely want to flush out those salts. Molasses is good for this because it's a chelating agent and will help remove and break down matter. Plus the sodium sulfate in in molasses neutralizes chems that cause salt build up and also nuetralizes chlorine and chloramine.
Why would you ever want to force sugars out of a plant. The amount of sugars and minerals are the brix levels of the plant. The higher the brix levels the higher the terpene profile. Which means a more profound and more pungent smell and taste or flavor.I understand you saying that look up rm3 and his boiling water techniques it really does nothing else besides starve the plant of nutes and oxygen and forces sugars out of the plant. Believe me I was skeptical too rm3 has whole blogs on it been doing it for like 20 years
What it actually does is cut off the plants supply of O2 and causes the plant to ferment sugars in order to survive. ALL plants are programed to do this, it is how they survive floods. So basically the plant is self curing while dying which causes a fast fade. It DOES NOT increase THC or resin or potency it simply speeds up the cureWhy would you ever want to force sugars out of a plant. Plants need dissolved oxygen to live and survive. Otherwise they will die.
Starving nutrients from the plant will causes deficiencies.
You don't want to cause anything of the things you said.

Plants need dissolved oxygen to live and survive. Capillary action in the root zone Otherwise they will die.

Plants need dissolved oxygen to live and survive. Capillary action in the root zone Otherwise they will die. Partly why boiling water kills plants. The other part is the high temps.

just posted what it does & and does not do ^^^He's talking of doing it in the last week of growing instead of a flush. Same concept really flush starves the plants of nutrients causing their fade and for them to give one last hoorah before they die. Boiling the water will starve them and not allow anything besides the nutrients that have already been taken up to be used causing almost a better flush due to no worry of plants absorbing remaining nutrients left in soil/Coco..... correct me if I'm wrong @RM3 but that's what I picked up from it right?

My bad was posting it at same time as u earlier lol that's what made sense it my head for it to do glad u posted it for realjust posted what it does & and does not do ^^^
no, it only takes a bit, I do a 2 gallon pot with 1/2 gallon of boiled waterSo is it still the same flush ratio? Three times your pot size?
