Can somone take a look at my baby's please.

The leaves on these seedlings are curling under (the first set of rounded leaves they get) Is this anything to worry about, do they need anything i should be giving them? I have them under a 400w HPS at the minute, which is about 2-3 foot a way from them. Temps are fine, lots of fresh air coming in. Any advice please or am i worry over nothing. :) Thank you

The seedlings are paradise ice cream, if that helps.

They will do that in the beginning, plus those leaves will come off after a little while anyways so don't worry too much about it. They are looking good :)

What kind of soil/mixture are you using? If they begin to curl after a couple sets of leaves then you might start to explore reasons like over/under watering or nutrient deficiencies, but not this early. If I can be of any more help just let me know. Peace and happy growing.

u shouldnt be using any nutes till they are a month old. put a fan on them blowing gently to help strengthen them up.

They are in coco. Haven't started them on anything yet, just straight in to pot's with plagron coco and have been misting 2 to 3 times per day with water. I planted them on wednesday last week and some had sprouted by thursday and all by friday. Ill go and get a fan for them tomorrow, will a little clip on fan be too strong? Should i get a battery powered fan? As i do not want to put too much power on them so they blow over do i?

A clip fan will be good. Just have it on low. I didn't figure you would have used nutes yet, I was just saying once they are mature enough you could explore nutrient issues, but not necessary yet. Sorry for being vague.

Thanks for the help, found a little dusty and dirty fan and plugged her in and she worked so i have now got that in the back left corner of my grow tent blowing on the seedlings, also my intake fan i pointed down a bit and it is moving the seedlings a bout a bit, hope it strengthens them up a bit as some where starting to stretch due to the 400w hps and start to get a bit limp.

If those are the only plants you have growing I would drop that light to as close as possible to them. Put the back of your hand under the lamp and between the plants and you should get a good idea how close you can get.

Can you post more pictures? In these pictures they look good. Seedlings don't need nutes just yet.
Don't wanna go up there now and disturb them as light's are out. Will grab some pictures tomorrow and post them up. It was just the weird curling under of the leaves and if you look at those pics one of the rounded leaves has stretched off a bit. I was worried in case i had stressed them out.

Like I said they look good. Are you worried about the cotyledons? They are just there to give the seedling energy and food. Once your babies suck up the nutrients from them they'll turn brown/yellow and fall off. They don't look stressed. I accidentally ripped off a cotyledon once and its doing pretty good. In fact its that plant in my avatar. :)

Yeah that is what i was worrying about, they just looked weird as i have some other mature plants in my grow tent and they never looked like these did. Maybe it is because they are a different strain/different breeder. Thank you for clearing that up, i hope my babies end up looking like that in your avatar, that's a lovely looking plant. :)
