can this portable vaporizer (ebay link included) be made from glass test tubes?

Hey guys, i came across this vaporizer, and when looking at it i clearly saw two glass test-tubes inside each other for some reason.

I have access to quite a wide variety of different test-tubes that i can nick, so i was just wondering if anyone knows the construction and build behind a vaporizer like this, and has any advise on how to go about making one.

If not, if anyone can provide me with just some general ideas on how to make any type of [portable] vaporizer with stuff you can find around the home.

Sorry if any of this is unclear, im a tad baked and have so many different things im trying to remember to type up..

Yes, you can make a cheap vaporizer with a test tube. All you need is a test tube, rubber stopper (hopefully with a hole in it) and a straw (preferably glass and able to fit perectly in the hole). Works better with a flask, I think, because the materals are readily available. Not sure about the quality, though. Keep the flame as far away from the herb as possible while still heating it so you don't burn it too quickly (thus defeating the purpose of the vape).

So basically i put my herb on the bottom of the flask/test tube, and just heat the glass?

Sorry, ive just never used a vaporizer before. - What happens to the herb while its being heated? Will i be able to see once its been tapped out etc?
