can you answer a ??, and tell me if im wrong?

ok guys, been reading alot of your posts and reading journals..


ive got some bag seed of bubblegum(X, purple kush(X2), nyc diesel(X2), and 1 Maui Waui...

been wanting to do a small grow setup until i get it down more...i believe i want to try one of these bubbleponic systems...i just wanted someone to tell me if im doin somethin wrong or have suggestions...

ill probably try to germinate the bubblegum as i have more in a paper towel method with no light....once the root is popped out about a 1/2" will it be safe to put in a medium? was gonna use rockwool in the middle of the cup surrounded by a thin layer of hydroton on top and bottom.

now with the bubbleponic system..
how far should the water level sit in the res from the bottom of the cup? i want to use roughly a 20-30 gal tub for 4-5 plants so i dont have to mess with water levels or nutes daily...

will the drip tubes in each cup be on and feeding the mediums even though its still just a seedling or just do hand watering? thought that 24/7 drip would possibly kill..should i use a weakened nute solution or jus ph'ed room temp water till its above the medium? what flow rate am i lookin for in the drip system itself?

and i think the last question for now..i believe im goin with CFL lighting as my roommate is a handyman, has those readily available...i have 6 32watts now, was thinking possibly 10 more. would this be sufficient lighting? or could i add like some other lighting too? i know home depot here sells little 200 watt HPS flood lights...could use that as a main light due to heat purposes and keep the CFLs real tight with the plant...

again sorry for all the ??'s guys..since ive found this site ive gotten really excited about this as no one around here could really help me....cant find no good nugs right now, and this is the main reason i want to do this.

PUt the seed directly in the rockwool cube.. fook the paper towel method... you can soak the rockwool cube in 5.0 water for 2-12 hours before you use it and you will be MONEY!!

GET A GREAT pH/ppm meter if you are gorwing hydro or aeroponicly....

CFLs.... get envirolights of get t-5s or get 43 watt CFLs.. they cost about 10 dollars each but sometimes Home Depot will have them for 4.97... get 10-20 of these bulbs ...

once the plants are 2-4 nodes.. get the light within 1 inch of your plants and adjust the lights daily.... kepp them close.. have a fan blowing in the room.. so the plants always have a little movement to them...

as far as soaking...are you talking a presoak before the seed goes into the rockwool??

and i looked in your gallery...are those the lights you were speakin of? and what kind of soil mix did you use with a feedin regiment? i had actually thought about soil mix for ease of use and being a 1st grow...
