Can you buy clones?

Or is that not legal between card holders? I still see people selling them over on craigslist. I am looking for someone who can offer teens in the Roseville area.

All transfers between anyone except patients and their designated caregivers are illegal. Then again if a patient has a caregiver they aren't legal to grow for themselves anyway so technically all transfers of clones period would be considered illegal. It doesn't matter if money is involved or it is a 100% free transfer, in the eyes of law enforcement it is illegal.

In a nutshell, this is the #1 thing wrong with the mmj law...

I feel that Caregiver to Caregiver is still open game ! Get a caregiver card and network with others who hold one as well .. Caregivers United

Look Dale here is your answer. Under protection with Section 4 (THE CARD) The only one who can TRANSFER (and still carry the card protection) is a caregiver to his/her 5 connected patients. But you still have a right to a SECTION 8 defense. Whether that Section 8 defense will help you or not depends on each circumstance. The person RECEIVING the transfer is always protected as long as you have a card, or a dr recomendation, and you are using the item being transferred for your own personal medical use.

The post about if you have a caregiver then you cannot posses your own plants is wrong. You CAN have a caregiver and STILL opt to posses your own plants provided you set it up that way when you get your card.

Edited to add...... So yes as long as you are allowed to posses plants you can buy clones but the person selling said clones may or may not have an issue.

How do you designate someone as your caregiver yet still maintain the legal rights to grow your plants, would that mean the caregiver can't legally grow for you? I always assumed that the whole point of being a caregiver is to legally be able to grow for a patient other than yourself and by a patient designating a caregiver they passing on the legal rights to grow to another person.

Not insisting you're wrong or trying to argue but clue me in. I'm just a patient who grows for myself, I've never even looked at the caregiver paperwork...

Yes, but if you are that caregivers only patient then he won't be legally allowed to possess plants to transfer them to the patient. Still lots of catches going on here. When our reps changed the law they were supposed to improve it not fuck it all up. They are supposed to be working FOR us but they only work to improve the size of their wallets....

You can assign someone as caregiver and still maintain possession of your plants (I think).

I guess that would mean you have somebody come over to your grow and assist you.

Pretty sure that's how it works. Someone will correct me if I'm mistaken.

I've only been distributing RD seeds for a year. Been growing a lot longer than that. I've only purchased maybe 3 packs of seeds in my life too.. 90% of my moms are clones i was passed, not seeds i cracked. There are a lot of perks of having friendships forged on overgrow.

As stated above. Choosing to designate a caregiver and then choosing which one will posses the plants are 2 different choices.

There are many reasons that one may need to designate a caregiver yet still grow their own plants. A caregiver is a caregiver not only to grow.

+Rep Ozz! I stand corrected.

Thanks for clearing that up guys, still doesn't change anything though.

I don't see many people wanting to pay the state of Michigan their hard earned money to be a caregiver without actually growing plants for patients. I help lots of people with their grows personally but i'm sure as hell not going to pay the state and have them register with me just to do so...

You can have a caregiver, and be a caregiver too. Buy from your caregiver, sell to your patients, your patients sell to theirs, and so on.

If the grower moves everything wet, and is not the person drying it, its never "usable" marijuana that he/she is handling. The restrictions are less. The next guy, dries and cures, or moves it once more or whatever. That person has the option of making X amount "usable" by drying that amount and labeling it accordingly. The rest can remain labeled unusable even after it reaches optimum smoking range (15%) The definition of "usable marijuana" is "dry". The definition of dry is absence of moisture... Issues are obvious, but its something. Just sayin. This was brought to my attention by an attorney you most all know.
