Can you clone a fan leaf?

I'm sure that question has been asked but I probably got stoned and missed it. I did see one person said yes, and sent me to a post that told me to clone during harvest. Didn't really answer whether or not you can clone fan leaves. Sure he said yes, so I supose that makes it so?

Okay I'm rambling, I have one little fan leaf in a cup of soil, miracle gro's seed starting potting mix, using gel. I actually see about 7 roots through the clear cup it's in. (day 12) For all I know those are from some weeds that came with the soil.

Is it possible? Could I actullay see more stem and leaves eventually? Or am I just wasting my time? I just find it hard the believe you can clone from a big ol' fan leaf with an inch or 2 of stem. I just figured it had to be a branch with a couple nodes. What do you guys say?

no you cant clone a full MJ plant from a leaf a lab or a skilled botanist could. you will only get a leaf with some roots. sorry to say, but it can be done if you know exactly how to cut the stem of the leaf, but even then its like a 1 in a million chance. you need plant hormones that arent cheap or easy to use im afraid to say

Actually the hormones are incredibly cheap, just be prepared to spend a long time working out which ratios to use and when. There are a few people out there who claim to have micropropagation techniques for cannabis but I've yet to see anyone do it. Plenty of rumours and vague whisperings in the wind, nothing more.

Oh well, so chances are definitely against it then. Who knows, maybe I'll be one in a million haha. I did do a couple others about 2 or three nodes down. Hopefully those will pan out. It's suppose to be bubblicious so needless to say I would rather not lose it.

Technically, yes you can. Realistically, no, not without a lab and knowledge of meristem technique.
