I messed up my first grow by not spotting a male fast enough. I'll still have some decent buds to smoke though. I just checked this video out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T07--heDYHc and in it he mentions vegetative state. I'm just wondering if I can take newer branches off mothers and try?

um...if you have mothers they should be in veg so you can clone away. i would take the lower branches off. let the new ones grow a bit. you want the clone to be at least 4''..you can try to pull them smaller than that but 4'' is perfect.
I should re-phrase that. I mean can you clone a Mature plant with buds and all?

oh...haha..not really its hard to..what you should do if you really like the plant is throw it in re-veg. just harvest the top 2/3 of the plant. leave the bottom 1/3. make sure to leave as much green as you can. throw it under 24/0 light, and feed some veg nutes. you should have new branches in 2-3 weeks
I have one more question if you don't my asking. Because she has seeds in her buds, will that effect my cloning in a certain way? I mean of coarse after I go back into vegie state.

its a female yer clonen the pollen came from a male you said so your still clonen a female seeds or none

not at all..those buds are going to dry out, and new branches will start to shoot out, with no buds on them..they will be female clones
Okies sweet, so I'll cut/harvest the top 2/3 of the branches. Go back to veging a few weeks and I can start cloning once new branches come?

yessir..just make sure you feed light doses of veg nuts as well
