Can you do anything about aphids halfway into flower?

I had some chile plants in a different room from my tent and they have just been found to have an aphid infestation.

So far so good in the tent but I am conscious that once aphids take hold in an environment they tend to spread like wildfire, so want to prepare myself in case they do get into my clandestine grow.

I am more than halfway into flower, just coming to the end of week 6. If the aphids do find their way in to the tent, what can be done about it?

Get rid of the chili plants you can always buy more chilies!

Short term solution is to plant something like arugula , and then spray with neem or soap solutions (not the argula)

most of the aphids will now eat the arugula , they prefeer it normally and now your other stuff is neemed so they will likely stay away

Done. Soon as the pesky pests were spotted the chili plants were taken outside and sprayed with insecticide. They will stay outside now. If they die they die.

Thanks - whilst I'm not bothered about organic (I'm using Canna Coco nutes), the NukeEm stuff sounds good as it leaves no residue. Anyone got experience of it that can back up the manufacturer's claims?

No room for other plants in there, and to be honest, I don't want to have any kind of pest in the tent at all, so killing them is preferable to giving them something else to eat!

Final question, I've read that pyrethrum can be used up to 24 hours before harvest, is this true? Will it not leave any trace on the buds?
