Can you flower a....??????

NOOB question i know, but can you flower a auto flowering plant? or is it best to leave it on a 20/4 or 18/6??? is it bad to put it on 12/12? just wondering cuz my snowryders auto is starting to flower under 18/6. i was just wondering what others thoughts were on this:eyesmoke:

you just leave autos on 18/6 or 20/4 or whatever vegging cycle you use if you put it on 12/12 it will reduce your yield

yeah they are auto flowering so they.... automatically flower lol:mrgreen:. since they automatically do this putting it on 12/12 would only reduce the amount of light they can recieve

yea they flower by age not by photo period so since you dont have to cut down the light to allow it to flower, the more light you giv it the bigger the yields, no reason to cut it down ya kno

Autoflowering plants are not common since they can only be grown by seed. You cannot have a mother plant to take clones from. Most strains are still around because folks have kept clones and mothers for many years. All Lowryder strain and its varieties are auto flowering plants. They usually do not yield as much and grow shorter than most also, they are kind of a designer plant for those people who are short on space and resources to grow big plants. Perfect for PC growers.
