im planning on buying 6 clones from the club today i dont know if 600 watts would be enough though. also a couple other questions, what gallon size pot should i start them out with and would it be possible to start them out in 3 or 5 gallon pots and just never have to transplant them becuase they are already in big enough pots. i dont want to have to transplant 6 plants. also would it be better to buy all 6 plants the same strain so they all grow the same and harvest at the same time for the most part. or would it be ok to mix it up like say 4 white widow and 2 sour diesel? wat do you guys think. im planning on doing this today

I am planning on flowering 5 plants with a 400w HPS, so yea 600w should do wonders! size of pots is up to you do you want huge 5ft plants or 3ft plants. Also take into consideration that any plant over 3 months old at harvest time should be in a 4-5gal pot so you dont restrict root growth. With different strains you wil just have to watch them closer thats all. Some strains like more nutes than others.....I would grow a few different strains to get your experience game up

Happy Growings

u can always get a bigger hood for ur light and that would help cover ur whole grow area, and yes u can finish ur plants in 3 gallon pots, it probably would be fine for 600hps, just remember not to overwater ur ladies if u put them in 5 gallon pots water around plant dont saturate whole pot , as she grows and roots fill in and she will be able to handle more water, when i was growing with soil i used 5 gallon pots watered them with one gallon every 2-4 days , and if the smoke is just for u i would get different strains that way u have different highs to choose from , i wish it were legal in my state(Florida) im jealous and good luck with ur grow

I will be flowering about 15 plants each under 2x 1,000watters. you should be fine. i dig the 3 gallon bags. still have phat buds without sacrificing to much space which leaves room for more plants. if the clones are legit go ahead and toss em in the 3 gal or 5 whichever you decide. i am growing blueberry, big bud, chocolate chunk, northern lights, o.g kush 18, and wonderwoman. the northern lights is more or less my early finisher, while pretty much all the others will finish at 8-10 weeks flower. so while me heady nugs are still curing my northn ligths, is finished and i have some herb to smoke for the wait. but it just depends on what YOU want to do. If it's easier for you to grow the same strain and keep it less stressful go for it. But i'm a jump right in baskin robbins kind of guy. good luck

you'll be fine. ive done 6 plants in 5 gal pots under 1 600w hps...they were indica dominant though...

dont go full sativa in 5gal pots indoors...youd be probably better off doing a sog.

you only need a 5gal pots though if you intend on vegging 6 weeks or so...

a 3gal pot is fine for a 30day veg which is about all you'll have room for in my opinion (especially when they get bushy). if you were gonna go sog id go 1gal pots as you have little to no veg time.
