One time i grew a plant in the window sill that looked something like this. They look about as dense and leafy as what I used to get from the first generation of blurple grow LEDs in about 2012?
Yeah. More light brings a lot more challenge though- Humidity, nutrients, heat, etc... Lot of small grows turn out like this- low weight but good quality because its almost hard to fuck up.I agree. I think OP would be shocked by how much denser and how much volume they would get with better lights. They did great for a first grow.
How much do you think he will yield?Another week to 10 days.
Are you insinuating they weren't ready to harvest? 20% trichomes were Amber...they were a day past 9 weeks..maybe you know something I don't? Please explainAnother week to 10 days.
You did a lot better than most people on their first try. HPS lights are actually pretty damn cheap especially if you buy a used ballast/hood and put a new bulb in. Or those cute little 150W for 77$ on amazon look like they would be perfect for micro grows.Appreciate all the comments, positive or negative. As some pointed out, was CFLs... I know other lights will produce better bud, but for my first grow, CFLs were the affordable and economic choice for me to start with. I will say that after everything I read here and other forums about CFLs my expectations were set extremely low, so perhaps this is why I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of bud I ended up with, even though as some of you pointed out, isn't anything to be proud of.
