You made my day man. I really appreciate that you see the love in the plant. It was hard to cut down, I got sick to my stomach like I was aborting my child. I know that sounds ridiculous but I had a connection with it. I don't have special stuff like recommended lights, fertilizer, etc but I think I did a pretty good job for my first grow. Again man, thank you!

Its so weird how it happened. Before I made sure there was a front to the plant so I wouldn't get confused, so I put an A on the side of the pot . I noticed it about a month in, the stem literally forked at about the 5th node from the bottom. I am wondering if it was because i compensated each side with light. One side would get more light than the "main" stem and so it grows more. If so, this would mean you could train your plant with no stress at all as long as it continues to grow "up" by simply turning the plant.
Sometimes when you're high you come up with wild shit that actually works. Lmao

I picked off 5 of the best fan leaves and I'm keeping them as momentoes.
I noticed about 5 "bud" sites, and you can see 2 of them in the first picture. However the "bud" sites were also riddled with bananas, and the actual flowers were maybe a quarter inch in diameter. So I think I had gotten the male to Hermie a bit because I had to perfect the lights and ensure there was no light within the 12 hour dark period, and I'm positive I must've stressed it a bit and made it do this.
Nonetheless it would've been inefficient to continue on. The balls to bud ratio was about 15:1, not promising at all. I picked a handful of the balls off thinking of what I should do before I just said forget it and chopped.

It happens buddy, I had one a few weeks ago hang in there, it doesn't happen that much!
