you can over water in coco, if you have a small plant in a big pot that hasn't rooted the pot out properly , it can take days for it to dry out especially when you water till you get run off, i have grown 6oz plants in 11ltr pots and they took 2.5ltrs of water every day, if you let the plant root the pot out each time you pot up you can not over water in coco, no matter how much or how often you water

I mix in perlite, ph my water, add bennies and use fabric pots

if done correctly yes coco pots can be left in water and you can yield more that way

if don`t badly the plant dies pretty fast as the roots suffocate or rot in the water

I just hate that transplant in frabric pot is hard to transplant it without tearing the roots
I use plastic bag pots for veg and fabric for bloom as the plastic ones are easier to get the plant out of and so cheap that cutting them is affordable unlike the fabric pots I onlu cut them after they've been used at least 2 or 4 times...... gotta get my moneys worth, lol

i used smart pots a long time. i got a cake spatula, long thin metal spatula and ran that around the inside of the pots, rolled the sides down, then ran the spat across the inside of the bottom, they'd pop out easy

As long as the plant is somewhat dry I never have issue with fabric or tearing roots, but i also domt transplant 5 times like some do. Solo cup -> 1 gallon -> 5 gallon

why not just use the new smart pots that are split down the side they over lap and at the top they curl over and have a Velcro strap to secure them .
