Put them on a 12/12 schedule till they show either two golden/white hairs - indicating a female,
or little round pollen sacs will form indicating a male. be sure to quickly put them back on to 24 hour light after.

Some strains have been known to lose a lot of time reverting to a vegetative state if this method is used. If you want to induce flowering to check gender, clip (and label) 1 clone off each plant, drop it into a cup of water, put the cup of water into a 12/12 light cycle. You'll figure out your genders before they die. All this time your main plants are spending continuing to veg. They didn't need that lower branch anyway.

Just take a clone off the plant, place that in 12/12 and don't mess with the plant itself, it doesn't have to have roots to do this. the roots will grow as the sex of the plant starts to show.messing with the photosynthesis can hermie ur plant .
