Cana coco

I use Canna coco Proffessional plus with DUTCH PRO nutrients.

canna coco nutrient range is perfectly fine.

Start by just using A/B with some of the PK13/14.

once plants are established and happy keep your nutrient strength between 1.1-1.8EC depending upon how much veg time and size of plant.

I’ve never needed to go above 1.8EC with canna coco nutrients

Does anyone have experience with cana coco. Any good. How bout there nute line ?
You only need Canna Coco A and B from start to finish. I would stay away from MKP/"PK boost". It's not needed and will only cause more variables and problems for new growers.

1.8 EC is way to high IMO. I never go above 0.6-0.7 EC max in containers. Remember less is more. Cheers!

I currently use canna coco and I mix in ecothrive charge and use to use canna nutrients and everything worked great. My tap water comes out 0.8 EC and if I only had given them plain water they wouldn’t of done very well. Highest I ever got with out burning is 1.6 EC, But that is strain dependent some like more food than others. I used the A+B and PK and rhizotonic. I did drop the rhizotonic unless I was hand feeding as I found it made stuff start growing in my res as the water went cloudy and stank to high heaven. only swapped nutrients to try something different.

I don’t go above 1.4EC with Dutch pro and very rarely exceed 1.2EC feeding every other day.

when I was doing a lot of training and using canna coco range nutes I could push as high as 1.8EC but that was with 10 week veg and training.

now I veg between 3-5 weeks and don’t run as rich.

My point is you should not "push" nutrients into the plant. Humans and plants doesn't like to be force fed. You will only produce a low potency larfy mess from my experience.

That's why we dial in every perpetual strain in production. Cheers!

And also again this is just research I seen and red up on the cana coco starter nute pack for 149 Canadian. So your guys suggestion is that I only need the AB (base) nutrient that all that other stuff is not necessary Specially for a beginner like me. Or is there some stuff other then AB that is worth a look at and maybe a purchase.

If you’re new then just A/B is fine.

You’ll have a happy harvest with just A/B

As for conversions to EC from PPM there are tables out there.

it also depends on the calibration of your ppm meter.

500ppm = 1.0EC but also 700ppm = 1.0EC depending on the calibration of your ppm/tds meter.

I've used canna coco in almost all of my past grows and it's great stuff.

The only thing I will warn you of (and this is with any coco) is to never let it go dry, if you do you'll start to get salt buildup and other shitty nutrient lockout related problems. In coco you should be watering them everyday ... multiple times a day if possible as coco retains oxygen better when it is wet.

I've attached a conversion chart for EC to the various PPM conversions that there are, which is why I try to stick with defining everything in terms of EC (the actual thing being measured), not a conversion factor.

ANy schedules or tricks u wanna share with a rookie for this is same set up I wanna try. Is it possible to water every other day ?
I water every day to runoff of about 10% in fabric pots. You may get away with every other day if using solid pots and they are small but watering can go up to twice a day when they get bigger. You never want to let your coco dry out unlike soil. Much depends on what your setup is. What will you be growing in, a tent or a room? What are ambient temps in that room or the room where tent will go if using one? What kind of lights are you going to use? Auto's or Photo's? I can help with a feed schedule once you give me some more info.

I use Canna Coco pro, when I bought it from my local hydro shop the guys there said Canna nutes were expensive compared to other brands because of low concentration levels.

I don’t use the canna range but I used to.

I guess it tomatoes tomatos if you’re buying bottled nutes it’s a given that they’re watered down.

I use Dutch pro and I find it to be on par with concentrations of canna nutes.

To be honest I’ve used both Dutch pro and Canna, in my opinion using the full range of both I’ve found Canna to out perform Dutch pro . But it’s horses for courses.

My last run which is almost done I ran this for half of veg and all of bloom. Just started lowering towards the end. This was with tap water.

Si = 0 ml per gallon or use it for pH up if needed.
CM = 0.33 ml per gallon
Epsom = 1 to 1.5 grams per gallon, the 1.5 in flower.
Micro = 6.67
Grow = 6.67
Bloom = 8.3

For lights I run and HLG 600 and you are running 300 watts so I don't have specifics but what I do is run 50% at. 30" for veg and. 24" full power for flower. Adjust the light up slowly the 2nd week of 1212 until you reach full power over 5 days or so.

Hope that helps.
