Canabutter Question. plz Help.

I just finished my harvest and i have about 300gr. of trim and tiny bud leftover from the whole plant after clipping the nice buds. My question is When can i use "cook" these trimmings?? Now, or wait for it to dry-out. How dry should it be brfore useing for canabutter? All help welcomed
 
I have made about 15 batches of canna butter and I either cook it while it is still fresh or freeze it untill I want to use it. All the recipes I have read do not say to let it dry out. They say to use fresh trim.

P.S. Everyone who has tried my medibles says that they are the most potent they have had. I think the reason they are so potent is b/c I use all the little tiny popcorn buds as well as ONLY the trim with trics on it(sugarleaves).

I have done it both ways, but fresh is better in my opinion, Why let it dry out just to get it soaking wet again?
