I found this interesting

Packaging, Labelling and Shipping
64. A licensed producer who sells or provides
dried marihuana under subsection 12(4) must ensure
that
(a) the dried marihuana is packaged in an immediate
container
(i) that is in direct contact with the dried
marihuana,
(ii) that keeps the dried marihuana dry and free
from contamination,
(iii) that has a security feature that provides reasonable
assurance to consumers that the container
has not been opened prior to receipt, and
(iv) that is a child resistant package that meets
the requirements of subsections C.01.001(2) to
(4) of the Food and Drug Regulations; and
(b) not more than 30 g of dried marihuana is in the
immediate container
.
Dried marihuana will have to be packaged in a tamper-evident
and child-resistant container. The maximum package size will be
30 g.
Section 64 — Section 64 sets out licensed producer requirements
for the packaging of dried marihuana. In the prepublished
version of the Regulations, the maximum quantity of
dried marihuana allowed per package was 15 g. This quantity
has been corrected to a maximum of 30 g of dried marihuana
per package to be consistent with the maximum package size
which was available for purchase from Health Canada under
the MMAP.

They really have pushed the limits down for mailing as well as consumption. I'm saving so I can take them to court and challenge this BS.

We are working together really well. Leads are opening up. Opinions and facts are being separated really well. Compare our MMPR discussion to any other site. We are ahead. We got a solid group of growers in here. Smart too.

Great info guys. Now I can use this thread next time someone says 5gram a day max or some other nonsense.

I am the one that said 5 grams a day and I openly apologize to everyone if I was wrong. But if I am wrong then I need some advice. If I am a 20 or a 40 gram a day person, will that be squashed and ignored come april 2014? Or can I still get that amount from a commercial grower? That 5 grams a day bit I wrote came from my designated grower so I trusted what they told me was accurate. Sorry to everyone if they were wrong. Thanks for posting your interpretation here though.

You dont have to apologize for anything man. There is so much bad info and rumors going around and then people start repeating it. It happened to me. And I was telling my patients and other people things that where rumor. After I realized it was rumor and not true, it was embarrassing. We just have to stay factual, look things up, ask questions and discuss with each other.

Possession of dried marihuana

Individuals will no longer have to apply to Health Canada for an authorization to possess dried marihuana for medical purposes. Instead, individuals who require marihuana for medical purposes will be able to legally possess dried marihuana if it was obtained under the MMPR from a licensed producer with a supporting medical document from an authorized health care practitioner. Similarly, an individual responsible for a person who requires marihuana for medical purposes will be able to legally possess dried marihuana under these circumstances. Individuals will be authorized to possess the lesser of 150 g or 30 times the daily quantity stipulated by the authorized health care practitioner.
Did your grower say your usage is restricted to 5g/day or that he can only mail 5g/day? 150gram a month divide by 30 = 5g/day and your saying that people have a higher daily gram limit currently and they will be bumped down right?

Health Canada admits and makes things more confusing in their mmpr regulations "In addition, the average daily amount (i.e. “dosage”) has continually increased since 2002 to almost 10 g per day now which, if produced indoors, is approximately 49 plants."

I can totally get how everyone is confused about this.

thanks maximum. My grower did send me a message and said that it averaged out to 5 grams a day when spread over a 30 day stretch so maybe they got it wrong as well? Maybe Mr. Conroy can bitch slap health canada so things are cleared up. That's great though that they acknowledge that the average daily use has gone from 5 to 10 grams a day though. makes all those letters they sent to GP's a while back seem like they made idiots of themselves. Have a good one!

Oh, can I ask one question? If a commercial grower can only sell you max 150 grams a month, does that mean that if you require more then you go out and fine another commercial grower? Am I totally confused and wrong by thinking that way? If the average is 10 grams a day then like you said, that's 300 grams a month. Means we have to go to two different commercial growers? If that is true, then there's no way they can meet the demand that will be caused by this. That was just for an average person who has 10 grams a day. What about the 20 grams a day or 40 grams a day or even the 80 grams a day...holy shit. That's a lot of commercial grower shopping if this is all true. But I might be misunderstanding things here.
