i dont get this. if my best interest is to have the freedom and availability to own and fire guns(example), then she is not my best interest. perhaps i live in a forested area with a large boar population that is killing my animals and damaging my home. her stance on firearms may limit my ability to protect my home and livestock.
we all have different values. we all have different lives. we all live in different societies. what may be in your best interest, might not be in my best interest. what may be in the best interest of a farmer, might not be in the best interest of a city dweller. unless you are telling me that what i believe is in my best interest is wrong because you know better. but that would make you a dictator.
just my 2 cents. im not tying to argue. but i do enjoy peaceful debate.
irony? perhaps if you dont want it done to you, you should lead by example.

actually it might help out our economy. the amount of nurses and doctors that travel south to work is astounding. because of canada's failed medical system, so many medical personnel commute to the US to work, driving wages down, because of the automatic raise they get when you convert US dollars to canadian. when i was an RN in Detroit, it was pretty frustrating.

So strange that you've heard it's because of our failed medical system. I have many nurse friends that Have taken contracts in the states. They get paid more than the American nurses because our nurses get a better education here, from what they said. They also said American nurses were pissed, lol.

I find it strange that an RN would think the health care system in the United States was superior to Canada. I guess they meant "the health care for those who can afford it is better". Not a very humanistic view of the world.
