i duno i see alot of stuff around 600 a lb and its garbage compared to what im growing. however im unsure what its like in larger cities im very sheltered where im at but those weed shops getting pretty cut throat i saw one store selling ounces at a loss in an attempt to drown the other store nearby its like watching two people fighting in a pool seeing who will drown first

It is a tough market forever now. It is not hard to get a prescription from your doctor..or get referred by your doctor to get one.
Anyone under 50 as a doc will do it for about 50 conditions.
Then you get a grow script on your count...and i grow a lot of personal weed. But i go through an oz every 3 days so it should be a lot.
I feel for the black market...but man since i grew my own i dont get pnemonia and shit lung problems every year...and i smoke 10 grams a day.
Your BM was probably better...the BM here BLEW GOATS...
I will also never buy a single gram (again) from the res or the OCS...i grow better EVERY time.
Even to see if i like something weird..i would rather grow it.

Yup just think of all the pesticides, mite poop, thrip shells & mold etc. we inhaled from blackmarket dealers back in the day. Even the ones who were legit hippies, if the situation was A) sell bad weed to people or B) not pay rent. I know which option was being picked 90% of the time. There might be 5-10 good dealers out of 100.
Still if I can't grow & I had to choose, I'd go trusted BM dealer over the legal "for profit" corporate dispensary every single time.

For $600/lb here you'd get some pretty killer weed if that means big hard shiny smelly nuggets to you. Other wise I just get popcorn weed for $250-300/lb and you get less stem. 99% of people don't care if its some giant bud with a huge stem in it they'll take small buds for 1/3 the price and same smoke quality.

People will hype up some shit, go to check it out, smells like.. ...notweed. 100 strains on the shelf so you sniff a few more jars, more notweed aromas. It's even the same with delivery services. Bring you 4 strains all smell like vanilla shoe freshener spray, pickle loaf or mouthwash or some shit.
