It's striking to me, the difference in coverage and understanding of the importance of this issue, between Canadians and Americans. I've watched a few videos by a guy called Tyler Bucket, a Yank who watches Canadian stuff, and he seems amazed that Canadians are almost like real human beings(IE Americans) in that we get pissed off and fight back when threatened.:roll:

American exceptionalism cannot be overestimated. Their arrogance and utter conviction in their own superiority in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary makes most of them impossible to reason with. I'm just glad I'm far from the border, and I hope most of the damage inflicted by the US government is to the US people who empowered it.

I'm pleased to see the cohesive mindset towards preserving our sovereignty. It's been my observation that Canadians are often passive, then assertive, but now we're see an aggressive component which hasn't frequently been on display.

Our family came to Canada over 150 years ago during the rein of Tsar Alexander the 2nd, the former emperor of Russia. There is no desire to be displaced again by Russia or it's asset.

Me too. The nazis to the south have unified Canada like nothing I've ever seen other than the Hip's last concert, though that was a very different vibe.

My family came through(and participated in) the Troubles in Ireland, so we too have a history of oppression and fighting back against horrible odds.

You'd be surprised at the number of people that continue to support TFG. Here in the bible belt, nearly every Sunday morninger still defends that orange turd - half my family included. There is no civility amongst them and are devoid of reasoning. They don't read and deny everything you try to explain to them. Videos and the charlatan at the front on Sunday morning feeds them all they believe - zombies, the lot of them. It's really quite sad what a cult can do to people. And the new one is aligning with Russia. The rationale boils down to Russia hating gays and the cheeto being against abortion. Smh.

Yeah, isn't that the sad, dangerous truth. I just can't put my faith in a degenerate like the felon. I'm sure there are those that believe in him, but even when I first started learning about him, I really didn't see any meaningful character or integrity. He's devoid of either. It is frustrating when you run into someone who's been converted to be a cult member. I work with the public, and I've made the mistake of voicing my opinion to somebody who thinks he's the shit.

This Russia alignment is so brazen, and disgusting. The Budapest Memorandum signed by Russia, Ukraine, the US and the UK guaranteed security for Ukraine giving up their nukes, and obviously Russia continues to violate it daily. Now, the way dumpy and his minions are "negotiating for peace" giving Russia what they want, and trying to screw the Ukrainians out of anything they can get, just makes me want to vomit.
