I'm curious to see how it goes myself and may just sprout a few to get a quick crop in. I like my THC as well and want a near CBD only strain to be able to mix meds to whatever ratio would be best for a targeted treatment. And to make meds for people like my 95yo mom who is right now taking CBD isolate type oil from the local gov't vendor to help with nerve pain from shingles. It hasn't been helping much so my sister got some CBD/THC oil from there to see if the THC added will help better. Quite surprised mom is actually going for the THC stuff as she's very sober minded but the nerve pain has been really horrible for her. Should give her a call and see how it's been going the last week since we spoke.

I have a lot of pot saved up with about as much regular bud/trim as I have hi-CBD stuff so the plan is to make two batches of oil then send some of each to a lab in Vancouver for testing so I have exact numbers to work with to tailor meds with specific dosage. Once these 30:1 plants produce I'll have to get individual plants tested to see which has what ratios so I can select the best mom. At $60 per test it could get pricey tho. They did say that being a low income senior with a doctor's med permit I can get a discount tho they didn't say how much. :)

Here's a lab test from Dinamed CBD+. About 18:1. I decarb in Ardent FX, then use 152g/litre of MCT oil 160° for 4 hours in magic butter machine = ~24mg CBD/ml - calculating for an 89% extraction.

One seed was started mid January, made some babies and let several people grow them. Then harvested them all late October and sent one sample in. It's a great strain that is quite resistant to disease, mold and wpm. I grew them closer together than other strains.

The leaves show some disease - alternaria alternata or septoria I'm guessing - airborne or via rain. Most strains that year got it, but it didn't get into the buds. A few lbs per plant.

That's very similar to what the lab report for these seeds of mine report. It's in some weird format, ( .avif), so I can't post the pic of the lab report but have a link. Dr. Seedsman 30:1 CBD Fem Seeds. Says THC 0.68% with CBD at 21.37 but of course every plant is going to be a little different so my plan is to try and select a good couple that grow the best and have them tested but that's going to be a while yet. I can make more seeds with STS so will be doing that. Sent me 15 seeds I can sprout a few and have plenty for backup.

It would appear there is no standard to become a cop. It wouldn't be unreasonable to prefer/expect some experience/familiarity with mental health, drug addiction, homelessness, elderly people, crisis resolution, cultural differences, laws, etc would be a prerequisite. Just 3 months of training and they get a badge and gun.

The average officer in Toronto makes $108k and unemployment is just over 5%.

It's desirable for everyone to do well. Let's hope standards aren't lowered to fill the doctor & skilled trades shortages.

We let lots of immigrants in to make up for our declining birthrate, in American they don't since Trump and the undocumented can't work most jobs. I live in Cape Breton an area of high unemployment since the 80s and there is even a labor shortage here and many places have Indians and others from Asia working the retail and fast food jobs.

A cop is not really a great job since you are dealing with assholes all day long, either criminals or colleagues, have to testify in court and could be fired for damn near anything. You have to physically fight people into your 50s FFS and walk around with 20 pounds of gear on not including body armor! You also need to be prepared to kill people if required or ordered.

I would have hoped there’s still a psychological evaluation somewhere in the process. This is a very risky policy.

Gluttony on the other hand is a sin in the bible so it's way past time to tax the hell out of junk food designed to addict people and force them to become gluttons against their will. Stack comparable taxes on all of it to help pay for the huge medical costs this toxic stuff incurs.

Brainwashing kids to up their profits is no better than what the tobacco and alcohol companies used to do so why let Big Food get away with it.

When a run thru a drive thru starts costing twice as much maybe longevity numbers will start going up again instead of heading down like they are now.

it's a societal woe, and won't be even close to that easy to fix...
Sugar was a luxury commodity for most of human history, not a thing we had to worry about getting too much of.
Meat wasn't eaten every day, meat only keeps so long, even smoked and cured, so you ate vegetable every day, and meat probably two or three times a week, depending on the season...
Human beings are easy to manipulate, once these things became easier to get to, we, as a race, became addicted to them the next day...
But we had to ASK for those things, and the manufacturers just complied with our requests...WE have to tell them, EN MASSE, that we don't want them anymore....do you see that happening any time soon?....yeah, me neither...

These clowns will have to explain themselves to a human rights commission who might fine them individually for an eyewatering amount of money, hate can cost you dearly in Canada. They will tell the town to rescind the order, or these people will be testifying under oath. In Canada this kind of horseshit gets short circuited, right from the get-go.

That's why we have a human rights commission and laws to deal with character flaws in some people. It means we are addressing the problems of bigotry and guns; it is also a recognition that we are no better than anybody else, just that we are dealing with it better. It's not perfect, but what is, the main point is it can be made more perfect or worse, depending on the government we choose.

that's not addressing the problems, that's driving those that have the problem underground, where it can fester and rot...trust me, that ain't the way to go...anyone convicted of a hate crime should have to undergo psychiatric treatment, indefinitely, until they make some progress, or they stay on it, and monitored, forever...

It is not the only approach used but is part of a larger thing that includes education, something that is bitterly fought in some parts of America. Prejudicial hate is a crime in Canada, not a 1st amendment right, is there plenty of racism, sure there is, but they don't control the government and it is unlikely they will. When a local council does something stupid, the individuals are reminded about it by the human rights commission and lawyering up for it costs a fortune. This kind of problem is multigenerational, after you begin to tackle it and some ideas have to die with those who carry them, we just need to make sure they are not passed from generation to generation, like family values, or normalized in society.
