Don’t diss HLG in any way please or the fanboys will come in and ruin this thread.
Lol If they can't handle facts that's their problem not mine. HLG makes great products. It also happens that another company offers the same product for less. That's the beauty of capitalism, if you can offer the same product for less you get my money.

Also, if that's considered a diss(pretty sure you're being facetious) then they need to stay indoors and avoid society. The rest of the world doesn't need to deal with people who have the mental maturity of a 3 year old who can't handle differing opinions.

I'm comparing the products. Same chips, same drivers, less money. Pretty cut and dry. The rest doesn't concern me or most purchasing these I'm not a seller or business owner looking to sell them.
Did you ever buy these? I heard about these chiacoms offering Samsung diodes that are anything but. For 760$ I'm not sure it's that much difference $$ wise than DIY 600-H kit, although this has far red? And this is 460 real watts vs. 600 of HLG for 950$ CDN. Would be curious how this board performs though.

I'm curious where you found an HLG600 for $950 Canadian. As for this brand, almost every major grower on YouTube was sent one to review and the overall opinion was they were good. Obviously you can say there was bias but these guys already full set ups and I doubt one light would sway an opinion. Btw an HLG550 draws 480w from the wall so I'd say that's the true comparison. I doubt the 600 draws too much more

Sup my Canadian brethren,

Im searching for an online shop in Canada that will ship me a 40-50 gallon res to the Rock without having to give up my first born.

Any of you got any good spots you do your shopping for flood trays and reservoirs?

Not sure if this would work for but basic blue plastic barrels are available everywhere. Pretty cheap too usually. Res's are pretty big so shipping can be pricey.

Thanks man, I'm actually looking for a low rise res so I can place it beneath my table.

Ya the shipping gets ya with products this size, understandable but frustrating lol

Ya I've got some of those too. Is there no hydro shop near you? Get them to order if from a supplier they have. Then they will pay the shipping on it. Shipping one is like shipping a piano type thing.

Most reservoirs that size are going to be pallet shipped since all they are is a deep 4x4 tray. Check out farm supply places for feed troughs.

Try indoorgrowingcanada.com. They have free shipping for anything over $99

Dont know if mentioned already but irrigationdirect.ca has been good for a few orders so far. They do take a bit of time to ship stuff out, sometimes up to a week depending on if they have stuff in stock. But they do have good stock on irrigation supplies and other growing supplies.
