I made a watering can, a milk jug with tubing glued to it, based roughly on this guide.
I don't have a hot glue gun, so at first I tried using super glue. Failure.
I went back to the store and a guy recommended I used a water proof sealant with latex and silicone.
So I found this stuff: DAP ACRYLIC LATEX CAULK PLUS SILICONE
It worked fine, but I noticed a warning label on it that says:

My question is: Can this nasty stuff find its way from the watering can, to the soil, to the plant, to my lungs? Am I taking a serious risk?

Then some stuff about contact with it.
Then:
"WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm."
Then is says not to inhale it.
My question is: Can this nasty stuff find its way from the watering can, to the soil, to the plant, to my lungs? Am I taking a serious risk?
