Candy kush auto growing very slow

Hello I have a question my 5 candy kush are growing very behind I'm using 600 watt hps my mh bulb broke so I'm using hps at lowest setting on ballast and my soul is Dr earth organic I seen pictures of 2 week old and there double the size of mine I'm wondering if its the hps light I'm doing 20 on 4 off if anyone has suggestions to speed up my growth I did not start nutes yet this is my first grow not sure what I'm doing wrong there were times the heat got over 100 when I wss on full power with ballast so I put it to 25% because there seedlins any suggestions

Update lol miniture auto stunted from high heat and the soil it was in I had no choice to transplant them into soulless medium after 35 days of no growth then they started after transplant

so did speed of growing up after transplant? Anyway good job.

Yea it started growing right away it started flowering one inch height lol I kept them just to see what would happen I knew after a month of no growth they were screwed I changed soil and got my temp in check
