Very true. She's definitely more of a clear headed stone, right along the lines of the Grandaddy to be honest. I have an s1 I've been smoking on for a little bit and she's nice but I'm hoping to find something better out of these CandyLands

I ran a couple of Lemon OGs about a year and a half back, and are still the only herms that I've ever had. A shame, too...both were frost monsters. Had to get them out of the room, but not before they hit a few buds on the neighboring Goji OGs. I ran one of the accidental 'Lemon Goji' beans, and it was most excellent. Pics in the NHPMB thread, I think.

lucky you got these before the GDP/DVG debacle started, maybe best to pollen chuck those babies?

I got those as well. Both Candyland were males, unfortunately, and pollen chucking isn't on my radar. I had heard the GDP used in the V2 was subpar to the V1 mom that was lost somehow. I don't know. I know I used to want most everything Ken Estes offered, but the whole DVG/GDP soap opera has soured my interest in anything GDP. I'll probably never pop those Bay Dream freebies because of the nightmare 14 week phenos that exist in the genetics.

I might still pop those Candyland @Amos Otis , lol! Cheers and happy hunting.

Nice, you have the regular candyland seeds. I've heard from multiple others that the v2 isn't as good. Nonetheless I've still seen great reports on the v2 with a keeper ranging about 23%. That's definitely worth looking for imo.

That's too bad on the lemon og.. I had two different phenos that were basically inversions of each other. Frostiest strain I had grown to date, I mean she was COVERED by day 24. I guess that kind of production comes with hermie genetics though

i just ran a rather large pheno hunt between 100 seeds and 6-7 breeders. 2 of the 4 CL v2 phenos I have are keepr among 50 females. 20 are ruled out already. I am no stranger to fire either.

Im 5 weeks into a candyland and have noticed that it is a low yielder, compared to my afghans and SinSourOG. :( But by far, it is the most caked in trichomes and smells the strongest. This is a connosuier strain for sure. But then again, i could be wrong about the genetics because i got it as a clone. This plant stretched like crazy, i had to top aggressively so it wouldn't tower over the rest of my ladies. Seedfinder.eu reviewed this as a heavy yielder at 800g/m2, so i'm wondering whether i got the right pheno. I donno. I'll post pics of my candyland tonight. Not impressive yieldwise, but potent as ever.

Wait until you weigh the buds though, I think you might change your mind to medium. Half a normal jar for me is an oz of candyland and a full jar of blue dream is an oz comparatively.
I might take some pictures as I just finished one ;).

Are you implying about the density of the buds? My buds on the CL are quite dense.

Here's a cllose up one I took tonight, just for my own fancy.I should take a picture of the overall plant to show structure. Lots of stretchy tops, due to my aggressive topping so that it wouldn't tower over my afghans. Small buds on this one but then again, I was just using an led panel surrounded by black plastic for three weeks before I switched on an HPS and put up the panda film. Also, might be a bit too much nitrogen in this girl. ;)
