Hey everyone , im looking for some advice on the canna line of nuets. I have experience with them over last 2 grows , bought a bunch thinking i would love this product . But i have not had the results i am looking for .

What im using:

RO water
DWC with canna aqua
High output areator(s)
Have 7 90w led lights, 1 240 w led , about 7-10 plants on average .

Always mix nutes into water, adjust ph after.

My room is a 16x10 completely sealed room, a 500cmf output fan, with a 750cfm intake fan . Dehumidifer, i have a c02 setup however i have not used it , i would like to get a c02 controller unit.

I Have tried cal mag , i began to think i have been over feeding the plants, have seen many plants with deff. ..looked like possible burn, or calcium, or mag deff.

i have cut back the feeding on the 2 still in hydro(they are starting to look much better with about 25% feeding) i have switched to soil for this time around to try and get something i can smoke ! and be proud to say i grew this .

If anyone has any information or helpful comments that would be great, i am new to this but love the new hobby.

Also if anyone has a great soil-mix i would love to hear about it! I am using 3 diff types to try and find one i like , canna soil, fox farm , and sun soil #4

Happy growing and smoking !

What are your feeding levels in DWC? What is your PH levels? It is most likely these 2 things that is causing problems. Make sure your meter is calibrating properly and working properly.....same goes for your EC/TDS meter......usually peeps find that one or both of htese are not working properly.....giving false readings.

Canna Aqua is a complete nutrient that really needs no additives. Add cal/mag to RO first at around 1ml to 3ml per gallon, then add Aqua until wanted EC level is reached, THEN PH.

What stage are the plants in? This would determine how much nutrients to use......what is the water temp??

What about water levels? Is the water touching the bottom of the net pot or is there a gap in between?

What is the temp and humidity of your growing room? This is a HUGE one on how much nutrients the plants can uptake. Off humidity levels will create deficiencies.......search "VPD" which is "Vapour Pressure Deficit" to learn about proper humidity levels and what it can do.....basically humidity for veg cycle should be at 50% RH

Im going to agree..... I run aqua bloom by itself, for veg and flower. works beautifly. I followed the light feeding schedule, and way less for seedlings. only 275-300ppm for little ones.
Some would say that you can use half strength of normal nuits for DWC. as well i would feed lighter because of your light source.

As for the humidity theory, mine has been right around 30% for 2 years now and i have had no problems.

Also - I tried canna aqua on my own potting soil mix and it seems to work just fine. - in the EBB it kicks ass big time.

30% would cause some havoc in my garden......Just because you have no problems for 2 years does not mean anything really and this guy IS having issues which is why I mentioned it to begin with. And since it is known that around 40% to 50% is best I would guess one could find VPD signs in your garden......if one looked for it that is.....point is I have never seen a garden yet that could not be improved upon by fixing enviromental factors......
