whats the difference between the hard water and soft water
i'm kinda cunfused on the last paragraph,is that hard or soft water.Maybe I can explain why,
Hard water is water that has high mineral content. Soft water is conditioned water that is full of salt but no minerals.
You see hard water is treated by a water conditioner. Water is ran over resin beads that are charged with salt. The salt attracts the minerals and removes them from the water. Then the resin beads are rinsed with more salt water and re-charged.
The soft water contains a high amount of salt residue but without the minerals its more effective to use for cleaning and washing. Like when you bath in soft water. It feels like the soap doesnt wash off however it washes of right away and what you feel is natural body oils that would normally be blocked pours by the high mineral content. When you add detergent you only need half as much because half of the detergent is water softeners.
Not good for people or plants to consume. Thats why on most installations you get a r/o for drinking water or a cold water bypass to the sink.
ok ,thats what i use already wheew thats good.Hey bugs, use the R/O
That way when you add nutrents you will be giving your plants the right amount.
