cannabinoids in vegging state

As i heard there is too less thc in leaves and they are produced in vegging too. anyways yesterday i cut 4-5 yellow leaves from my vegging plant and smoked. i did that because i read that yellow leaves will slow down growth due to their survival energy and no production to plant leaves were yellow for a loong while anyways when i smoked them it seriously got me high.

And i wonder since i grow more than single plant. would it be ok to take some leaves while its growing or plant would go to shock or something. lets say i keep this plant long enough in vegging state so i dont have to consider less yield or something. i just wanted to know an experts opinion about this.

Thanks

yes u can take some leaves.
just dont go overboard.
dont take more than 1/5. and even that is pushing it.

dont take leaves from buds either.

or use my method, i clip off the outer leaves of alot of sets, leaving only the middle 3-5 leaves. lets more light get towards the middle.
its kinda a compromise between clip and no clip

NOWitall thanks for your advise it is really an awesome incentive to smoke few leaves while growing it :D
And i am wondering does leaves contain thc, or other 50~ cannabinoids. The effects feels like cannabinoids though. And as i read from a research article leaves contain quite much of cannabinoids except thc 9 and 8 that was good to know even fan leaves give you a good buzz

what you are feeling would be considered a lack of oxygen to the brain high... I wouldnt go as far to say there is thc in a vegging plant.

my fan leaves end up in my simmering oil. I take leaves, but never smoke them. I store them until a harvest, then I add harvest trim to it. When I have a box full of fan leaves, trim and air buds, I get to baking brownies.

I trim any fan leaves early on that blok light from a good tip. For example, I just topped a plant. I didn't babysit it after. In 2 days, one nie replaement top grew, looking around for the other one, I saw it was bloked by a fan leaf from another stem entirely. The new top had failed to grow a single entimeter beause it was not reeiving light.

it wasnt lack of oxygen im pretty sure my friend i felt the indica "high" but i smoked noticable amounts of leaves to get that :D
