Any more opinions on this subject guys?!

It really lingers in my head the whole time, would like to see if any body have done this before..

The thing is that any way this process will take place in the last few days before harvest.

So any way there is not much to lose right?

Reducing the water supply and raising THC proudction in the final days sure that will be a good thing without using more Lamps for UV or CMH..

I mean what we are going to lose?any way this process is the last 3/4 days before we chop chop!

So there isant really any reason that should make me worried, right??!

Or am I missing something here guys?!

This sure looks and sounds like the old story of sticking a nail through the stalk of a pot plant to make it produce more resin.

Many will be doubtful of this technique. The article does provide more details and gives some supporting reasons why the practice might be beneficial, which is why I found it interesting.
I have seen the use of the nail trick in person and just like the posts before mine I think there are better ways to gain the same results without giving pathogens an active route of direct entry into the plant. In the most extreme case, I had White Widow I trained with a coffee cup on a carabiner attached to 4 main colas and weighed them down by putting a few nickels and bolts in each cup every day to make it more heavy.

I personally do not mind crushing stems, bending, tying down, topping, chopping, etc. If I have any lesions I like to cover them with something... Honey, Duct tape, Wax, whatever, just hate to give any amount of leeway to any type of vector. I have beat a Chocolope plant to shreds with a bamboo stick in furious anger but even that plant came back to be a smart ass so I am inclined to believe that some plants come back just in spite.

The 'furious beating' method of plant training. This would be the first I've heard of it. Then again, it pays to consider what thread I'm in...

No seriously I was imagining my self having a bamboo stick and beating the hill out of them, even speaking to them in this process loudly...

Are you gonna prouduce good or I keep beating.:grin:

The thing is that I only grow from seeds now.

Still in process in vegging 3 mothers.

So I cant really say for sure if there will be difference.

My best option to wait till I have clones so I can see by my self.

But that will take a long perioud...

Thats why I am asking if any body has experience with such practice..

No, when I beat my plants, they mostly just lay over and play dead.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Plant bondage? No problem! I chain 'em to racks all day long! Tie them into fun and twisted positions! Keep them hanging!

But straight up sadism? That's just too kinky for me, man. Y'all need help or something...

Ja man I got what you mean :)..

I use bendz as well

http://www.hg-hydroponics.co.uk/bendz---plant-training-x-50-2166-p.asp

The cool thing about those things.

That the manfacture says that you nees to take it out before the stalk/branch get big enough that the bendz will stop the fluid travilling through the branch.

However, once I forgot to remove one bendz and after a while I have seen the branch got huge that it push the bendz out.

And in this proceaa I got huge pump on the branch like I have exactly supercropped it!

For sure that must have hurt them as well.
But man believe me every time I abuse those girls they got get stronger and stronger.

I dont nees to have bamboo sticks on my plants

The stalks is very strong that the waight of the buds is not gonna brake the branches even when I have very big tops on those branches.

Haha!! No that chocolope DID NOT produce anything, it just came back to life after I left it to sit in the dark corner to forget about. I absolutely do not recommend training by beating with a stick. I was furiously killing the plant lol. The object was obliterate it so there was no excuse left to keep it in the grow.
