Thanks dude! Yea I just trimmed her and took off a lot of the leaves, and then gave it a neem spray since one of my flowering plants (only one flowering atm) has thrips and leafhoppers -_____- it looks fine and isnt dying but i cant spray it since its a month into flowering, so i ust preventatvie sprayed everythign else. and willonce a week for a couple months probGreat work man. I love making crazy looking plants. I wouldn't be able to have that much leaf in one area, I been battling mites. Yuck
It's a fun project for sure. This particular bonsai would look awesome if flowered, but it would be a shame since it's been cloned already. Just gonna flower on of the clones in a couple months. got some more topping to do still lolI've always wanted to try this, I might just have to create a little bonsai of my own!
Hey thanks dude!She looks beautiful.
What are the specifics of cannatonic? High CBD? Or is it fun-time weed? Either way. that is a good looking girl. No smell issues with her out and about?
Thanks man! LST is definitely fun to mess around with. Very interesting stuff and pretty quick results with cannabis plants once you have them well rooted and established. That is pretty cool, man. I've always wanted to do some crazy stuff with LST. Like a crzy side winder with a staircase of some sort. It is usually the mothers that I get to practice on. Good shit, Dude
Coming soon!update please
Hey, I'll do that on the next one I makeThat looks awesome, Good Job!
I tried to make a bonsai before, but I failed. I think I may have cut too much root off.
Can you elaborate on exactly how you do your root trimmings?
What type of soil you are using?
What percentage of the root ball do you remove? Just the bottom, or the sides as well?
Do you add anything specific to help the plant recover from taking roots from it?
Perhaps explain your process for us, and take photos the next time you do this.
Thanks.
Thanks! Appreciate it man It's definitely rewarding because the odler it gets the more it looks like a real tree so it just gets better and better while providing clones if neededBeautiful! I've always wanted to do this to keep a mother for cloning…congrats on a stunning job! +rep!
update please
I have read about the process of making bonsai trees before, that is the reason I attempted it for Marijuana.Agreed, I would like to see a little bit of the trimming process. Cool Project man. And Functional. How many clones do you take at a time?
Hope you don't mind me posting a link but it was a quick tutorial I found:
How to make a Bonsai Tree
I sense a friendly Bonsai contest in the near future. I have a bunch of cuttings I took so one of them is going to be turned into a bonsai. Cool thread man!
I think I'm gonna start a seed for a full bonsai tutorial/step by step this week.I have read about the process of making bonsai trees before, that is the reason I attempted it for Marijuana.
However, I found that there is a big difference in your average household plant, and pot.
I believe I may have taken off too much roots, or maybe trimmed too much of the plant in addition.
Perhaps my downfall was soil moisture level when the unpotting, and trimming took place.
I am not sure exactly what I did wrong to kill my plant, but since I did, I never tried it again.
I subscribed to this thread, and give OP a rep+
No hurry in the tutorial of this advanced form of training, but looking forward to seeing it.
Thanks man!random bump to keep this thread alive.
haha thats hilarious! Thanks! Gonna post some more today as soon as my plant drinks some water and perks up hahatried to rep the same pic twice.. prob was stoned that day
Shakira's last major trimming. - and her new bike...(her little sister gets the one with training wheels) <shedding a tear - she was getting SO bushy> She will bounce back quickly. I am still kind of surprised at the growth that occurs every day now.
