Ya. That was a few grows ago. Just never knew what it was till i saw this thread....is that what it is? A polyploid? And what is that exactly?
Incidentally, that bud was 22 gram s when dry...super dense...
And...it was the only bud in that grow that did not foxtail...

The top 3/4 of an inch was actually pretty good. The rest was indeed absolute shit.... smoked it anyway...dunno why i didnt think of just turning it into hash...lol
I guess a 22 gr nug was point of pride...lol

I have a couple of pics from a previous harvest with the split color leaf in 2 different stages of veg. The split leaf in the 1st pic is mostly hidden in the second pic. Wish I moved the yellow leaf in the second pic that is blocking most of the split leaf.

This was on one of my mango plants, looks like it tried to bud from the leaf like you guys were talking about before. It didn't develop anything more than what the picture shows.

I had a few oddities occur over my past few grows. One was where buds were growing from the leafs.
The following is a breeding project I've been working on for the last year...I've been running the F1's from a cross of a sweet seeds dark devil and a liberty haze(both fem seed) waiting to find a good breeder. I finally found one. It's been in veg a couple months on 18/6 and has outgrown everything else with phenomenal growth. When seen from a couple feet away, the stems look like a tomato plant(almost furry). But up close you see it is glandular trichomes and the plant has just started preflowering. I think I found a keeper. What do u think?
And one last pic of the bud I am trying to stabilize...the color and flavor are very unique:

I always put this down to the loss of apical dominance in the stem, it would be the main reason why you get bud on the leaves too. Pretty much to do with the plant hormones messing up from stress, polyploidy wont make buds like this.
