Well, I've searched to the farthest ends of the planet looking for somebody else who has had this occur with their plants. I have 4 seedlings, 3 are a week old, the 4th took about 2 days longer to sprout as I originally buried it too deep, but decided to let it go as I was worried to damage the roots or lose the seed by replanting it, so after the others sprouted, I saw no signs still after a day of waiting for the 4th to sprout so I uncovered enough dirt until I saw the sprout, then lightly covered it, watered gently and allowed to grow some more. It has sprouted the next day, and as the others got nig with nice fan leaves, days went and my newly sprouted seedling was getting nice and big, yet I've seen no fan leaves growing on it. Only the 2 Cyteldons. They are still growing, and the stem looks strong. I've seen no doubt the plant will grow, but what are my chances of getting bid? Will every new leaf set have no fan leaves? I've never seen this before, I would like to know if ABYONE else has experienced this. All of my other plants had fan leaves on day 2 of sprouting. I'll post pictures.

Actually it looks fine, just some seem to sprout abnormally. I've got a Red Purps from Female growing now, started off like yours, I was about to pull it but decided to re-pot it. The growing tip was minuscule for a long time, then sprouted, not two leaves, but four !.
Its now in veg, growing happily.
I dont really think you should worry about it, don't over-water it and it will be happy..!

It's fine, just have patience, and make sure you let the soil dry in between watering, too wet soil will stunt the growth or even kill a seedling

What kind of light is it currently under?
Thank you guys, and right now im going the complete OD package. Every other one has gone great so far but this little guy has been keeping me on edge. Had a run in with pests on one plant but I fixed that and she has some growth started again over night. Here's what the other plants look like and what I was expecting for this one, minus the one chewed little girl. Is starting them in direct sun a possible cause of deformity? Heat being to strong or something?

They all look like they are doing well, every seed is a little different, if you popped four seeds, you'll see differences in growth rate, stretch etc. just let them do their thing.
What are the seed strains? Or did you grow bag Seed?

Hey, thank you for the input and the are Crop King Seeds Dark Angel Strain. I had a bunch of bag seeds but to know how my first time grow went, I wanted a seed I could know the genetics and grow pattern of to be sure I did a good job. I felt using the bag seeds would take away my accuracy on how well I did, not knowing the strains could bring me tons of issues for only havin limited knowledge. I plan on posting a grow report on here and Grasscity if you guys are interested to see how it comes along. I'll be needing tons of tips im assured. I'm going to keep a close eye on this one to make sure she grows good. Just weirded me out. Never seen that.

Sweet. I'll definitely check. This has been the site I got my information for that year of research from and yes they are fem. So I'm hoping all goes well. I'll keep updated with reports and I'll love to hear anyone else with this similar thing happen o their plants. From what I heard, after searching even harder, I on one post this guys plant looked identical and it self topped itself right from its first shoot.

Even the same batch of that particular strain has differences in phenotypes, so you might get say 3 different growth patterns and possibly sativa dominant in one or indica in another.
Now that is something I did not know. I figured plants could grow different but whatever your strain was, sativa or indica is what all offspring would be. That's actually crazy. It sounds like cannabis is one thing UOURE never 100% in control of. Glad o started when I was 20, Gonna take years and years it seems to perfect.

Well, I often check up on plants and their genetics on eu.seedfinder and on there various growers often give a summary of their particular experience with that strains batch. They often add the differences in the plants, tall, lanky, grows like a sativa or, flavour has more skunk in that particular pheno ect.
