Cannabusiness Vs. Total Legalization

Im not extremely sure about this one. I mean, I wouldn't mind the legalization and taxation road, our states and bankrupt country (for people who live in the US) could really use the tax money, especially Cali, but I understand that legalization and taxation wouldnt totally make it legal because growing it would probably still be illegal, like with tobbacco or moonshine (I know moonshine isnt grown, you know what I mean) The cannabusinessmen, I heared, are really only in it for the money, which if thats true, I dont want my weed in the hands of just more greedy fuckers. Also Jack Herer made a good point saying he wouldnt want his weed in control of the same greedy douchebag government that kept it illegal and spread so much propaganda in the first place.

My question is: why cant we have both?

Let stores sell weed like ciggys, get some industrial hemp goin so we can have better paper, cloth, ect., and cheaper gas, but still let people grow their own and choose not to buy it. I know the general argument is that if its legal to grow for yourself than nobody will buy any and it will bring the industry down, but come on people, do you really think every single person who wants a toke is gonna go through the process of growing when it's so much easier to just run down the street to the nearest gas station and buy a pack of joints? (or however it would work)

I think maybe a clean middle ground could be established.

Gimme ur thoughts, Peace and love :bigjoint::leaf:

My advice, it'll never be as illegal to grow as it is now to grow, just keep doing what you're doing if you don't like the system to come. Growing that is.

There will always be illegal selling and growing of weed, and unless the government can do it cheaper with better or equal quality, then I'm taking my
money elsewhere then. If not though, which I doubt they will be, I'm sticking with my old system. You only get busted if you're a total fool. In Canada
and in the United states.

So true, and in a legalized environment it would just be all the easier to not get caught growing. :leaf:

Oaksterdam has really improved a finacially bad area of oakland, but I also heard that the author of prop 215 was fired from oaksterdam university for preaching about full on legalization, which is just rediculous..
