Canna farms drying method from email they sent me awhile ago

"
Our drying process for our plants is to hand trim them, dry them for 2-3 days, sweat them for 2-3 days and then re-dry them for 2-3 again. This will allow them to dry evenly and have the remaining moisture filter out naturally. We ship in bud form, so we want to ensure the highest quality is maintain throughout the entire bud. "

So not really a cure at all

Yeah, they missed the memo on the difference between drying and curing apparently. A proper cure takes time, and time is money so they forgo that.

Thanks. Do you know if they'll have any other strains ready at that time as well ?
They will have the Master Kush (batch #2 - summer batch) and was told that the Green Crack (1st batch ever) should be good to go at the same time or a week after. Info from Dan @ Canna Farms, yesterday.

Thanks again Pauly, when ever I try to email them they haven't been really quick to respond.

Funny they just sent me an email

We are following up with our Summer registrants and just wanted to confirm that you received the account activation email that was sent to you on May 27th, to the email address above. We also wanted to let you know that our Summer strains are coming along nicely. Our next batch of Master Kush, the Green Crack and the Pink Kush are set for harvest on June 11th and on June 20th we are looking forward to harvesting the Crimea Blue, Red Cherry Berry and Rockstar strains. This means that you should be able to place your first order by the end of June and receive it at the very beginning of July.

I still cringe every time I see the name "Green Crack" associated with medical marijuana......it just seems wrong. I am a big advocate for sticking with original strain names (as well as listing accurate genetic origins and breeder info), but this is the one strain that you could make a case for 'retooling' its name when being sold in a purely medical form. A medical product whose name references one of the most harmful street drugs of all time just seems wrong IMO.

Green Crack is kind of like the Washington Redskins of the medical marijuana strain list in that it has a completely inappropriate connotation and is need of a name change. I am all for staying true to original strain names, but this is the exception to the rule, and the one strain name that I would consider changing. If we all want MMJ to be universally recognized as a legitimate medication, LP's selling a strain with the name 'Green Crack' does help public perception, and just makes for easy fodder for the vocal anti-MMJ contingent.

I'm sure many will disagree with this or not really care, but just some food for thought. I'd love to hear what both patients and LP's think.

I've actually seen some people refer to this particular strain as "Green Cush" instead of "Green Crack" for the particular reason you mention. I am one for free speech in all forms and believe the breeder's should be able to name their strains whatever they want, it's their work so it's their right to name it. Honestly though if this is a problem then we will have to "retool" or rename a bunch of strains. If "Green Crack" is somehow a problem because of "negative" connotations then what about stuff like Agent Orange? Or the strain named LSD? Or for the more easily offended out there should we "retool" Alaskan Thunder Fuck and Cat PIss too? Just leave the damn strain names alone and quit confusing people.

All very valid points which I agree with. For some reason, Green Crack just rubs me the wrong way a bit, and only when being sold as medicinal. I don't think free speech necessarily applies to a medicinal product being marketed and sold to the public though, and there has to be a line somewhere. For example, if a strain were to contain a racial slur. In the recreational market, I could care less how offside or offensive a name is, but I do feel that there needs to be certain discretions and considerations taken when a product is being sold as being medicinal. Personally, I am fine will all of the names listed, Green Crack is really the only one that I sort of see an issue with. This isn't a strong opinion of mine or anything, just something that I've thought about and was curious how others see it.

Corporations have to get their names approved to ensure that they aren't deemed offensive, and so do many products in other sectors. In the business and medical worlds, free speech is not applicable or acceptable in some instances.

I know one of the dispensary I get from call it Cecil B kush.....named after the breeder......but I do agree with what devil was saying.....hearing green crack might give some people the wrong idea about it.....even tho I think it is aptly named......it comes on hard and fast but doesn't have a lengthy effect

Plus you have to add the 2.5 weeks for drying and testing then 3-4 days delivery to the dates he/she quoted you. Shit!
