Oh yeah I can understand that completely mateYou can fine tune the environment using the inkbird to achieve dried bud in as little as 7 days with most units, it’s just not as good as waiting the 3 weeks

Where was that from mate I'm in the uk and I'm happy to build a unit with the materials that person has used and I'm confident I could use one but I'm not the best at drying and curing and that's why I'm wanting a cannatrol but it's like $2100 if I want one deliveredMines a cookology wine cooler I think I paid 200 for it
I don’t know if you’re talking about the look of freeze dried buds, but here are some from my recent Malawi harvest 2 weeks ago. I have a 2020 medium size Harvest Right Freeze Drier, and newer ones seem to bump that to 5 trays now. I set the trays to 55f and dry time varies on bud density. My Sativa plants are lighter and need like 12-13hrs of dry time, but an additional 3-4 hours are needed for my denser Indica buds.Let me know if you see it mate and what you think
Looks nice mate and that freezer thing is new to me like the Cannatrol is as well, when ever I've dried anything it's always been chopped down and then put in drying nets, but I think mine drys to quickly and I get that hay smell, but don't get me wrong it looks lovely every time but just doesn't have the smell and is crispy to touch and that's why I started to look for a reasonable quick way of drying and curing and like I say if i build something that won't cost no where near what the Cannatrol does and it performs similar to that then I'm open to ideasI don’t know if you’re talking about the look of freeze dried buds, but here are some from my recent Malawi harvest 2 weeks ago. Click on that link I sent you mate, where the person turns a wine cooler into a very similar machine to the Cannatrol and let me know what you think and any help would be very much appreciatedI don’t know if you’re talking about the look of freeze dried buds, but here are some from my recent Malawi harvest 2 weeks ago. here u go mate I wrote an article about it
I'm looking to buy one but the person above has made his own one by converting a wine cooler and I want to know how it went or is going. Because if it's close to what the Cannatrol can do I will do the same as it would be a $1500 save for me as I'm in the ukI bought the cannatrol about 6 months ago. Beggars can't be choosers, but I wish it was a lil bigger. I had to play tetris with the buds this last grow to make it all fit. I'm still happy with it though. Getting 60F and 60% rh in the tent was always a pain in my ass.
Yeah it was still fairly expensive here in the states. Think it took them about 2 months to get it to me as well. If you can build one, more power to you. If I had the smarts, I'd have done the same.I'm looking to buy one but the person above has made his own one by converting a wine cooler and I want to know how it went or is going. It’s me, I’m the one who brought the idea to rollitup and I’m the one who wrote that article, im also in the uk. I got the idea of a guy on uk420.Where was that from mate I'm in the uk and I'm happy to build a unit with the materials that person has used and I'm confident I could use one but I'm not the best at drying and curing and that's why I'm wanting a cannatrol but it's like $2100 if I want one delivered
I’ve never tried to push it to a 7 day dry as I’ve always been more concerned with getting the best quality bud dried and cured. But I’m confident it could dry 15oz in 7-10 days. But that’s not what I want to do. I feel there would be some sacrifice of terps and possibly excess chlorophyll would be left over.Has your machine worked mate and if so what time frame did it take for the product to be ready for use?
My bad ur right, my apologiesIf only there was a thread somewhere else on converted wine coolers instead of completely derailing this one.
I've spoken with cannatrol and they said I could get it within 7 days if I pay for a certain postageYeah it was still fairly expensive here in the states. Think it took them about 2 months to get it to me as well. If you can build one, more power to you. If I had the smarts, I'd have done the same.
Cheers for the reply mate, as I need one to dry quickly more than cure quickly as my space is quite small so I need a quick turnaround if that makes sense, so if I built that wine cooler using everything you have said I will get my job done in 7-10 days for 15o's and can you give me the exact products you brought so I can get the same at least then if I run into any trouble I can message you for your help if that's okay with you of course mateIt’s me, I’m the one who brought the idea to rollitup and I’m the one who wrote that article, im also in the uk. I set my machine at 12degrees Celsius and 62%rh, leave it on a cold balcony and it’s dry in about 20 days.
