Cannibis with antidepressants

Hi guys just wondering whats the worst thing to happen while your on antidepressants and you smoke weed is t dangourse ?
They are completely safe to take together. When I was younger before they had medical here my dr had me try them and I even told him that I smoke every night. Was actually a cool as fuck dr I was lucky. Lot of doctors back then would frown upon it. Antidepressants are not for everyone though. Going off them cold turkey is terrible, never do that. They actually have certain ones that even increase appetite. I don't like some of the side effects they cause though. For some people most of the side effects go away over time. Stick with herb if you can. If you want to try them start on a real low dose and build up gradually. Most Drs have ppl take too high of a dose at first IMO. I know plenty of people that even drink alcohol after they have been on the pills for a while. Never any problems except hangovers or sick from drinking too much. Not recommended tho.

Here's a tip for you.

If you need pharma drugs... Then you are growing the wrong strains!

Try Blimburn seeds Cindy (photoperiod feminised) + Barney's Farm Pineapple Express. Those exact 2 strains are what you need to get your life back!

You'll never look back if you grow those!

I have hemp soil with high cbd too. It's legal in the UK and I have several drops of that 3 times a day during a vape. Now that is truly superb. A damn fine combination. Kind of take a away some of the head high and it progresses into more a natural body stone. Reduces flashbacks and depression + current mood!

Here's another tip for you!

Get your self vitamins dude. Make sure you also get yourself minerals too!

Instead of treating the symptoms with vial medicine!

Also get yourself some magnesium!

Trust me, if you load your body with vitamins + minerals, there will be far less need for you to look at the horrible drugs they make for mental illness!

Never rule out vitamins + minerals for your meds dude!

I've been smoking for ages and I've been on sertraline (zoloft) for about 5 weeks and I'm the best I've been in a while. The sertraline does it's job and the weed helps with some of the side effects, haven't noticed any bad interactions at all :)

I learned what I had was hypoglycemia when I smoked. The zoloft fucked up my appetite and I was only eating once per day. Smoking cannabis in a fasting state is a no-no, folks.
Yup it seriously fucks you up.... Sometimes it's how I know my blood sugar is low, I am diabetic.

I was prescribed Celxia, which is another mild anti-drep medication. While on it I smoked like I normally do, but when I quit I taking the medication cold turkey I got the worst panic attacks. Even the weed couldn't help, I'd wake up in the middle of night gasping for air. Now after about 3 months of that it's finally gone. When talking to my Drs. They noted that it as due to me taking it off cold turkey, and they also recommended I do NOT smoke when taking Anti-depressants. Just my 2 cents. It was tough, but now the MJ controls my anxiety.

I was on 9 different pharmaceuticals at this time last year, I am down to 3: zoloft, lamotrigine, and levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. I haven't taken my anxiety meds that I had been taking four times a day in over a month, and I'm no longer on stomach meds, sleep meds, and other psych meds I was on. I was nauseous and throwing up daily for over 6 months!

I'm not a doctor, but I know mmj has helped me much more than all that big pharma crap I've been taking for 20 years. I've lost count of how many different ones I've been on. I don't know all the research with interactions though, so I won't give a professional opinion I just figured how much worse could it get and was desperate to try anything

I like my mood stabilizer, but I seldom take it these days, unless I feel the manic tug.
Valporic acid is good at potentiating weed. As long as I have weed, I get along fine with only a fraction of my prescribed medicines.

For some reason, I can't stand antidepressants. They make me feel like you do after MDMA wears off.

I
I know several people who used to smoke a lot of weed but now it causes anxiety. Not sure how that happened, but hopefully it won't happen to me.
I easily go through one zip per week.
I'm a old veteran and I've smoked more weed than I could possibly count, I've also used just about every antidepressant medication there is and now I just take Abilify and use my bud just like always and I'm doing ok. No anxiety attacks and less nightmares, depression presently under control. YEA BUD! :-). I've recently tried other methods of using bud but I'm a extreme newbie actually. I have tried a couple of types of vapes and some edibles. The jury is still out on the edibles as far as I'm concerned, maybe I'm just not doing enough mg. for a heavy user like me. Any suggestions?

Most Doctors will automatically tell you to not use Marijuana in any form, if they jump on that bandwagon then I would suggest finding a better educated Doctor. Just saying.

I'm currently weaning myself off the Zoloft and it kinda sucks. I'm tired all the damn time but so far, other than fatigue and being light-headed, it isn't too bad. I've been on 100mg for just over 6 months. I kind of tapered off a bit quick, 75mg for two days, 50 for two days, 25 for two days and now 25mg every other day. The Zoloft has helped honestly but I don't want to be dependent on it anymore and I haven't smoked in months on top of that.

Anyone else have experience with coming off this stuff?
