Canopy Density

Hello,

This is my first grow and I am getting ready to flip to flower and I have a few questions. I am using a trellis with 3 1/2" squares. Should I thin out this canopy? Is there a rule of thumb I can follow to know how many tops I should go with? How does the number of colas affect yield? Do lots of smaller colas vs fewer larger colas = Same yield overall? 20200216_123507 (1).jpg

Canopy looks good to me. Disclaimer: I have about 4 grows under my belt. 2 soil; 2 hydro.

You should have no yield penalty, and possibly a benefit, from having many incipient colas.
 
Looks great to me and I've done dozens of ScroGs. Have you cleaned out most of the small stuff under the screen?

You ought to pull a half lb off it at least.
