Can’t control temp

My setup is in a closet in my home office. Office temp is around 66-68 F. My tent is 2x4x5 and I’m new to this.

I have the spider sf2000 led and cannot keep the temp below 80 degrees, even at just the recommended 60% intensity for the initial grow stages, and using a 190 cfm exhaust 4” fan setup that blows outside the tent and into the office. I had it vented outside the window too but it still stayed in the 80s.

I just don’t get it. I’ve relocated the driver so it’s outside the tent and have a 12” diameter oscillating fan inside it, but no luck.

Is this light just too intense for a tent this size, even though it’s recommended for this size, as is the fan? Thanks.

80° is fine.
Where’s your temp gauge sitting?
Also, even if the driver is outside the tent but still in the closet the intake is still gonna draw in heat.
But if 80° is your max temp you’re fine.

Crank it up all the way and see where it sits. My limited experience with spider farmer lights is that they run a bit warm. Even mid 80s will be fine. Your closet may not be getting optimal airflow so possibly pointing a fan at your inlet from the room may cool it down a little.
