Cant decide.. CFL or HPS?

Hi girls and guys!
Searching a lot about indoor lighting, and now, something strange is going on... Oh yes... I cant decide. Its really hard :P , so, i am asking for your help.. CFL or HPS?

Looking around for something not more than 150w, and low budget kit (~100E) option :P

Thank you! Chilling around...

PS. Soil cult. Space ~ 0,5x0,5 m. Also, i would prefer the lower electricity run.

Suddenly i cant order from htg cause they are not shipping outside usa.

Could you use HPS bulb after CFL (if there is a cfl kit)? In this point i am a little confused. Could you change the bulb at a 400w hps kit, and put a CFL bulb?

For one plant 4 40-42w (flower, veg period)? And if in the future put another plant? 8 40w?

Thinking fur 2 plants, but i would like to know how to count per plant :)

thank you

Edit. ok, sorry for the same question. You have allready answer :P. This happens when you r baked..

Cfl cannot go into a HID fixture. If ur just going for a couple plants then cfl is probably the way to go. HID will give better results than cfl (unless ur a vetran cfl grower) but they also require a more complex cooling system if you are in a confined space which I imagine you'll be putting these in some kind of closet? This will increase the cost. I would go to the cfl growing section and take a look at some of the setups in there to get a better idea of what you will need to do

i mention that cfl bulbs have a variety of lumen that put out. 10000lumen is good enough?

I keep in mind:
flowering: 2700K
veg: 6500K

mjisgood21 says at least 4x40w/plant. Means 4x40w 6500k for veg that changed with 4x40w 2700k for flowering?

thank you. peace

imo you will want an average of 10k lumens per plant (they say something like 3k per sq/ft or more, iam bing a bit conservative here). iam using these and i dont know why the page doesnt say, but with all 6500k bulbs it puts out around 26k lumens. ill probably drop 2 of the 2700k in for flower, but when you do so, you more than halve the lumen output of the bulb, so some side lighting will need to be added. again if your keeping it small you can do a couple hanging hi-watt cfl's to compensate for loss of lumens and penetration.

-edit- some specs off the box since that site isnt very specific:
25,2000 lumens
120 Volts
324 Watts
2.7 Amp
