looks to be good never personally used it .........the only thing u might need to think of is it is BLACK so it will aborb heat from light .......all fans have a thermal senor on the motor it will cut off about 140 degrees

that and this is only 4 inches so that is only 170cfms
Oh damn somehow I missed the 4 inch part. So what exact duct do you recommend?

Wait I just realized that if my lights are cooled in series, the light can travel through the duct from one tent to the other and cause problems in flower. So maybe I should just go filter to light to fan in each tent.

yes and no
if u are doing 2 tents u can use a inch fan as the ejection fan.......split the feed with a 8 inch to 6 inch Wye connection (i mean this is directly on the fan housing itself) .....going on 5x5x6 tents (can go 10 or 12 if u are talking larger but not sure if they make reducers to 6 inch from those

now the ducting needs to be same lenght and u hook on hood then u can do carbon filters .....keep everything the same as much as u can to evenly spilt it
now to make u feel 300% safe and happy

add that mid point in the ducting for the ejection point .........if anything gets by the filter the ozone kills the smell .......your ejection point will smell like hospital air

Well crap. The fan is already bought and it's 6 inch. I guess I'll just do filter, reflector, fan like you suggested, and leave out some ona or something.

u can do the same thing on a 6 inch with the Wye ...a 4x4x6 is 120 and 5x5x6 is 150 so split a 400 is 200 it can work .........i did this myself originally

a veggie tent does not need a filter only the flowering tent so i used a damper

they do not sell my damper anymore here is a cool one u can use at the end of the line tho

Aluminum or PVC is great. I used rigid aluminium duct since PVC was very expensive. Braced the extra weight of duct with a little utility pole outside the tent. The pole also allows me to neatly route cables and have some place to mount ballasts and other things.

a 90° pipe between the lights will stop the light from coming through the ducting. thats all I did at the end of my run so light from the room doesn't get into my flowering room through that vent.
