Hello Everyone,
So here is my story.. This is my “Second grow”, I quote the second since it’s more of a continuation of the first plant, but a second try with clones.
The mother was a mystery seed that I got off a bud, so I’m expecting a high probably of having a hermy plant on my hands; but its ok, I’m learning here.
My main issue is as follows. These Clones will not flower and are driving me mad, I’m starting to doubt what I’ve learned so far
They have been in flowering for 5.5 weeks, and are not showing their sex !!
Now this started with the mother; She was the exact same way, but I did have an accident where my lights were on for 48 hours due to a glitch in the timer, but I did wait for 5 weeks after that for her to show her sex, but she never did.. for 3 months I kept here in flowering before I decided to pull the plug and kill her. So now she is gone, but I had clones taken from here before I put here to flower.
The clones are what I’m here for! I have 3 of them, One I kept as the new mother, and the other 2 I put in the flowering closet.
This is a picture of the new mother on the right, and one of the flowering two. You can see the increase in size, The lights were really close to the plant, but it kept stretching, and stretching out of control.
Behind the chair is the small grow closet, its on 2 LED lights keeping the mother nice and healthy. (smells really nice and fresh )
This is the bigger grow closet; I tried to take the picture at an angle where the lights are somewhat visible, as you can see I’m running on 6x105W CFL’s 4 up top, and 2 on the lower back, there is a vent that sucks the heat out of the apartment, and cooler AC’d air is dragged in.
Different view of the 1mx1mx2m grow tent.
A close-up attempt with my iPhone, basically all I’m seeing are the Green pods forming , which result in more Green growth.
This is another thing I noticed, it started appearing on the mother when I put her in flowering, and now its showing on the clones. Its increasing in density exponentially, the mother had them all the way ¾ of the way up the main stem. I’ve been told that they are blisters and a sign that the plant wants to form roots there. But I don’t see why it would do that. The PH of the soil is fine, the PPM is good too. So what’s going on here? i know it's not root bound, those pots are big.
Any advice ?
I’ve tried putting the plants in 30 hour darkness in an attempt to force them into flowering. This was done when I decided to flower them.
I’ve reduced the light to 11light/13 dark since 2 weeks now, again attempting to force it to flower.
I’m pretty much out of ideas here; oh, in case someone says its due to a light leak during its dark period. I’ve taken precautions against that, I spent a lot of time with the mother plant trying to figure out if there was a light leak, cause I wasn’t seeing it if I put myself in the closet with the lights out. So now the only light in the room is a green light, so there are no accidents of anyone turning the lights on in the room where the closet is and having light leak in!
