Howdy folks,
Just finished two Canuk Blueberry fems. I popped two seeds and both germinated quickly. Two obvious phenos that were apparent right from early veg. 5 gallon DWC in a grow tent.
HLG 550- V2 R SPEC for both veg and flower
Cyco nutrients. Didn't use every product - Both phenos didn't like high PPM on nutrients. Never got higher than 600ppm on .5 scale
Topped early on and did some LST
2 week veg time
Humidity was 62-65% during veg and 45-50% during flower
Took them the full 8 weeks and they were done
First pheno had smaller flowers, but had a stronger aroma and slightly more trichome development. Leaves were much larger, but had much fewer leaves overall. Here's some pics of the first pheno.
Now, the second pheno had very large flowers. A real heavy producer. Not quite as frosty and stinky as pheno #1 but still very nice overall. This one had some blue hues that came out in flush, but nothing crazy. This pheno only needs the one photo. Just wow! Didn't expect that from this strain. I should get at least a QP from this one plant alone, maybe more. Colas are stacked and some are 10-12 inches long.
The only gripe I have with this genetic is the fact that it's called Blueberry. I have a cut of the original blueberry from the 80's here, the true gassy, blueberry, skunky aroma with blue hues everywhere. This Canuk variety is a far cry from the OG blueberry. But take the name away, and the genetic is impressive on its own.
Have you guys had success with this genetic? What was your thoughts on it? Did you like the end product? Show some pics and share some stories.
Thanks for dropping by.
