High Doubletake. I am following Uncle Ben's Topping recommendations to get 4 main colas on each plant, https://www.rollitup.org/t/uncle-bens-topping-technique-to-get-2-or-4-main-colas.151706/. They recovered very fast. It has only been 7 days since I topped they are growing fast. Today I started 12/12 since the largest plant was already over 15" tall.

This will be a good experiment. I will post regular updates and of course any problems I might run into.

Yep, they will start stretching now. This time I am going to try to just let the 12 tops grow without scrogging. That was a lot of work!:sleep:

Hey Spaaacie. So far this grow has been the lazy person's dream.... nothing much to do and no worries so far. The CAP flood n' drain works perfect. There is no PPM or PH fluctuation at all now when my res drops. It is using 1 gal a day now so if I needed to I could leave it for a week at a time without worries.

Did you notice the differences in my 3 plants... 3 different varieties look and grow completely different.

The one on the left with the 4 big tops is Blue Rhino, the middle one with all the secondary tops is Desert Diesel and the more compact one on the right is the Bubba Kush. They are all indica dom but the plant structure is completely different on all 3.

The race is on. The Desert Diesel is now 37 1/2 inches. It started out as the shortest plant but it has now outgrown the Blue Rhino. I rearranged them with the tallest on the left again so I can slant the light for better coverage.

Before: Left Blue Rhino, Middle Desert Diesel and Right Bubba Kush.

4 days ago the height was 38 inches. Today it is 46 inches. Hopefully they will stop stretching soon...

Yea, I had to double check my measurements, they're almost 4 feet and it does not include the pot. They grew 2 inches per day for the last 4 days and these things are Indica dom. They are 2 1/2 weeks into bloom though so I think they will slow up soon. I am going to stretch a net over them later to help hold the colas and I am going to try not to thin or scrog this this time.

Thanks Doubletake. I am still scratching my head tho wondering why I keep getting this major stretching with my grows. This time I even planted Indica dominate and the stretch is about the same as last time. The light should be alright, 50 watts per square foot. Today I changed my higher dollar Digilux enhanced blue spectrum hps bulb with a cheap Plusrite to see if it makes a difference. Hmmm... I don't have a light meter but the Plusrite light looks more bright/intense than the Digilux.

A lot of my small lower leaves are a very light green, almost white looking. I think it could be a calcium deficiency.. not sure but I added epson salts to the res and I have ordered CAL MAG+. Any ideas anyone?

Desert Diesel is the highest at 50" measured from the top of the pot. I see a lot of buds but it is really looking crowded in there already.

They have stopped stretching, have started to bulk up and the tops are over 5 feet from the floor. I am not doing any leaf thinning this time.
