CAP XGC-1e Reviews

Hey guys I've been digging around the interweb, looking for some info on grow room controllers. From what I understand the extra investment is well worth it in terms of conserved Co2 and optimum growing conditions.

The two major contenders are the Sentinel CHHC-1 and the CAP XGC-1e.

Now there are a TON of reviews of the CHHC-1, and they all talk about ease of use, convenience and durability. BUT there aren't any real reviews of XGC-1e that I could find digging around the forum.

The CHHC-1 seems to be awesome for environmental control, but it also lacks the obvious day/night timers for lighting and pumps. Which means that you have to buy a separate timer to activate your lights. Which I obviously would rather not do if the alternative product (the XGC-1e) fulfills that need and controls the environment just as well.

So please, post your reviews of the XGC-1e IF you have experience with it.

Please do not endorse the CHHC-1 here, that seems to have been done everywhere else.

But if you have experience putting the CHHC-1 against the XGC-1e, by all means knock yourself the hell out.

Thanks in advance guys,
All the best.

works great, and I really liked it.

I just had it fail tho. Well kind of. The Co2 can only be calibrated at the factory. My unit went through some really hot and really cold days while in storage, and now the co2 just shows 1-3ppm.

So I'll have to send it in before I can get my other grow set up with co2 at least.

i actually have a chhc-4

i like them both. they both have different features, of which i dont utilize all of them

with the sentinal you can read the temp and etc from outside of ur room. the cap doesnt even have a digital temp or humid meter, and must be inside the room
